TNR means Trap, Neuter and Return. Trapped 16 kitties this week and rescued 8 newborns with this momma. Momma will be spayed and returned when the kittens are weaned.
While we did trap 5 adults the majority of these were smaller kittens. It is hard to return kittens outside! But the reality is that we don’t have enough resources to socialize all the kittens. Fortunately this is a healthy colony and their caretaker feeds them well. We also gave her extra food.

Taking care of our community means helping each other.
