We’re Stuffed Thanksgiving Sleepover: Give a Shelter Dog a Break! 🦃🍂

Looking for a way to make your Thanksgiving extra special? Bring home a shelter dog for a Thanksgiving sleepover!

Our shelter is “stuffed” with furry friends who would love a spot at your table this holiday. Give them a much needed break from shelter life, help us learn more about their personality and promote them to potential adopters!

How It Works:

🦃 Pick Up a Pup: Choose a date to pick up your pup and a date to drop them off. Commitment is as little as 6 to 15 days! The program kicks off this Saturday November 23rd. Please note, pick up dates are critical to our life saving efforts. Only dogs that are ready for adoption are eligible to participate.

🍁 Feast of Fun: Share your holiday with a furry friend, from family dinners to fall walks. Be sure to complete our sleepover report card and tag us on social media!

🐾 Give Thanks & Love: Let our “turkeys” know what it feels like to be truly loved!

Did you fall in love with your holiday guest? Continue the fun by transitioning them to an adoption ambassador (foster) or adopt them into your home!

Help us “unstuff” the shelter & give our shelter pups a holiday they’ll never forget!

Happy Animal Shelter Appreciation Week! 💗

This week we are celebrating the superheroes that work or volunteer at our local animal shelters! Our animal shelters are constantly working hard to ensure lost, homeless, & in-need pets are cared for while finding their forever homes. This line of work is definitely not easy, but we are so appreciative of those that dedicate themselves to these animals!

Dia De Los Mu***os (Day of the Dead) is a holiday meant for celebrating both death and life. During Dia De Los Mu***os, we trade our mourning for celebration of the lives we have lost. One specific way to celebrate Dia De Los Mu***os, is by creating an Ofrenda to honor our lost loved ones. An Ofrenda altar may feature photos, favorite items, foods, etc., of the deceased. This holiday is meant to rejoice in the love we were lucky to once have, and to honor their time spent with us.

We encourage you to send us your photos of your beloved pets to add to our Ofrenda, to honor the wonderful legacies left behind by our furry friends. You may send your photos via Facebook or email ([email protected]).
