Pupdates on the two Rottweiler puppies Mosin & Ghost!! Both sweet babies came by the clinic today for a quick visit, but absolutely everyone had to get some lovings from this happy pair!!🥰❤️ They gave all the kisses, received all the kisses and pets in return, and then wanted a lobby nap! 🤣🐾

Meet our newest technician, Manda! Manda started with us a couple of weeks ago and has been settling into the NEAC family!
Some fun facts about Manda:
She comes to us with 3 years of veterinary experience.
Her favorite animal is owls.
Her favorite hobby is watching serial killer documentaries.
Her favorite thing about working in the veterinary field is that she gets to be a nurse like she always wanted, but a nurse for animals. Saying, "Animals are my passion, people are not my passion" 🤣❤️🐾

Announcing Camp CAS for Clear the Shelters!

Next week, we're bringing our shelter pups the ultimate summer camp experience with Camp CAS! That’s right, in an effort to Clear the Shelters, and save more lives, we are opening up our slumber buddies program to the entire community!

What is Camp CAS? 🏕️

Community members can take a shelter dog, or “camper”, on an extended sleepover! It's like sending a pup to summer camp, but in your home! Give them a much needed break from shelter life, help us find more about our furry friends and promote them to potential adopters!

How it works:

Pick Your Date: Choose a date to pick up your camper and a date to drop them off. Camp commitment is as little as 5 days to 1 week! The program kicks off this Monday August 5th. Please note, pick up dates are critical to our life saving efforts.

Have Fun: Enjoy your time together with lots of play, cuddles, and adventures! Be sure to send us updates and tag us on social media!🌟

Report Card: At the end of your camping trip, you will be sent at Camper Report Card to share all the fun memories and experiences you had. 🐕

Who are eligible Campers? Dogs that ready for adoption are eager to join you for this unforgettable camp experience!

Did you fall in love with your camper? Continue the fun by transitioning them to an adoption ambassador (foster) or adopt them into your home!

Camp counselors must be at least 18 years old to participate.

Our staff had the opportunity to attend CVETS Columbia Veterinary Emergency Trauma and Specialty 's first open to the veterinary public CE (continuing education meeting) last night! We learned from LVT Annika Ramcke on her experiences with advanced anesthesia care in pets. It was such an insightful presentation that we will definitely be able to refer to and learn from in all our future anesthesia procedures!
Thank you for all you do and for having this opportunity to continue our education!

Ghost the Rottweiler puppy always gets lots of attention when she visits us! Her housemate Mosin (last photo) was visiting yesterday too! They're both getting so big, Mosin is already too big to carry around at 58lbs, and Ghost will be there soon too, weighing 20lbs today!
We love these two sweet babies! ❤️🥰

Romeo, the Chinese Crested pup pictured here, was such a sweet boy for his visit today! A fun fact about Chinese Cresteds is that there's two varieties of the breed- hairless (like Romeo) and powderpuff. The powderpuff version has a long silky coat that covers the entire body, and they're not as common!

We had a special visit from SIPSetc. Columbia ( ) courtesy of our IDEXX representative Natalie! ❤️ Our staff was so excited for this special treat, especially on this hot day! ☀️🧋So delicious, and we definitely recommend the amazing drinks made by this locally owned business!
