Since all classes were postponed a week due to the poor weather we will still accept students in the classes that have openings. If you think you missed out joining CCSC session 1 classes, think again :)

Classes will start this week at their scheduled times.

There will be a FETCH practice Saturday noon - 2 PM at the facility. $10 per run. Also, there will be a Sniff - n - Go in the same time window.

A couple of additional classes or sessions of regular classes have been added to the January schedule -
INTRO/OPEN/NOVICE Barn Hunt class on Thursday at 6 PM (not for experienced dogs - i.e. Senior/Master). Conformation Class on Tuesday at 7 PM. Canine Care class Thursday at 7 PM (learn to groom your dog yourself or at least get them to learn to behave at the groomers!). A Tuesday STAR puppy class at 10 AM. An INTRO to NOSE WORK 5:30 PM on Mondays.

There is still room in the Wednesday and Tuesday evening STAR puppy classes.

Brenda Aloff’s seminar this weekend - Working Your Performance Dog Through Stress, Arousal, and Distractibility

This upcoming presentation will focus on training the competition dog.
• How to get the most from the dog and breed you love
• How to get your dog off food and ring ready
• How to motivate the experienced dog
• How to motivate different temperament types including: the shy and sensitive dog, the over-zealous-­anticipating dog, the pushy and reactive dog, the distracted dog or the one that has a poor work ethic.

Brenda has worked with all these types of dogs for many, many years and will give you valuable tips on how to improve your skills to bring out the best in your dog.

OFA eye clinic 9 AM to 2 PM Saturday October 12 at the Columbia Canine Sports Center. Details and sign up at the link. Payments need to made the Day of the clinic to CCSC. If you are interested in coming there are slots available after 11 AM at this point.
