All building members and folks who come to Saturday morning drop ins and conformation classes. This week there will be no conformation classes or Puppy Explorers due to the center being the site of the SMACCM Agility trials. Feel free to come and watch some great agility teams compete Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you come to watch, please do not bring your dog.

All, there will be the Saturday drop in classes this weekend - Puppy Explorers (9 AM), CCSC regular conformation class (10:30) and the Columbia Kennel Club conformation after that. In addition, we are having 2 pop up practice sessions for Barn Hunt and Scent Work. BH 9 AM - noon. A Sniff n Go starts at 1 PM and goes to 3 PM. Sign up at.

It was SMACCM Obedience & Rally at CCSC this past weekend - rally for me. Miss Ruby decided she was not playing in Excellent - as she did in Topeka last winter so I decided to withdraw her for the rest of the weekend - obviously 'ringwise'. Zed did well in Advanced with 2 4th placements & 3/4 Qs. We are working on his confidence off-lead before moving to Excellent. Miss Tessa was the 'winner' earning her Intermediate title & an 'insurance' leg with a 1st, a 2nd & a 3rd. We will be working on heeling off-leash between stations with a wee bit less enthusiasm and greater focus before going on to Advanced.

Rain has paused and there is a hint of sun as the SMACCM Obedience/Rally trial gets underway. Spectators (without unentered Dogs) are welcome. Trials today & tomorrow start at 8 am and likely will finish mid afternoon.

Ruby, apparently, was so tired after supervising the ASDR show relocated from tornado-damaged Purina Farms to CCSC that she did not wake when I placed a chew between her paws when I left the house this morning.

All, reminder that this weekend - March 7, 8 and 9 the building will NOT be available due to the AKC SW trial being held all 3 days. Not agility ring rental, no Saturday drop in classes, etc. Any questions ask [email protected].
