It is with the heaviest of heart that we had to say goodbye to Spaz. He went into liver failure for reasons unbeknownst to us. We did everything possible for him to no avail. He was the absolute sweetest kitten. The staff and I are beside ourselves. He’s left a huge hole in our hearts. 💕
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who applied to adopt this special boy. He will be greatly missed.

Another cute little guy. Weighing in at 11.6 lbs. He is guesstimated to around 11 mos to a year old. Very scared little boy but does warm up. He is vaccinated. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. As we have no way to test with children you would need to bring you kids in. Here’s another cute little guy weighing in at 11 lbs. He is very scared however he does warm up. He is brother to (Draco). He is also 1 yr old and vaccinated. He will be neutered and vaccinated upon adoption. Again we have no way of testing with children however you may bring your children in to see how they do. Draco is a little guy weighing in at 11lbs. He is a sweet boy who needs a forever home. He is 1 year old and vaccinated. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. He came in with his brother (Kanine) so he is good with other dogs. We have no way of testing with children so if you have a child you would just need to do a meet and greet. PLEASE.
we are asking again …. PLEASE share this post far & wide. This poor boy has been in a kennel for over a month, with no visitors. no interest in giving him a forever home. We make these posts weekly, begging for someone to give this sweet boy a chance. Time and time again people comment showing interest then do not follow up, or call the office to set up meet & greets and then don’t show up. This boy deserves better, we want to find him a home. Our staff tries very hard to find these dogs a happy home, but the fake interest in these dogs makes it very hard. Bruce is a handsome boy, vaccinated, heartworm negative, doesn’t do great with cats. Very healthy. He deserves a loving home for the holidays. Even if you cannot take him, PLEASE share this post far and wide more people need to see this sweet boy.

Have we talked to you about Proheart 12?
It is an injection administered by Dr. Bartlett that is 100% effective against heartworm disease (caused by dirofilaria immitis) in dogs over 12 months old.
For those that don’t want to give their dogs a monthly heartworm preventative (this does not cover fleas/ ticks- ask use about Bravecto Quatum for those pests) this is a great alternative. One injection and you are good for 12 whole months of coverage. No struggling with monthly oral heartworm preventatives.

But here’s a quiz for you….. how do dogs get infected with heartworm disease?
