Meet Chad! This sweet boy completed his radiation treatments last week for his oral melanoma, and we could not be more proud of him! In his free time, Chad enjoys volunteering at the St. Louis Children's Hospital and visiting with patients who have been diagnosed with cancer - just like him. He is a true hero in our book! Please join us in congratulating Chad on his special achievement 🐾❤️

We are excited to announce a new clinical trial investigating the use of a novel radio-tracer (Copper-64) for PET imaging of cats diagnosed with mammary carcinoma!

Feline mammary carcinoma is the third most common cancer in cats. Similar to certain subtypes of breast cancer in humans, it has an aggressive biologic behavior, high risk of metastatic disease, and limited systemic treatment options.

We hope to use the information gained in this study to develop new systemic treatment options for cats diagnosed with mammary carcinoma in the future. Please see below for additional information on the study and use the provided link to fill out a survey to see if your cat qualifies.

Mr. Darcy is not only a literary hero but an expert on cancer treatment! This distinguished gentleman was diagnosed with lymphoma over five years ago and has successfully completed his fourth complete CHOP protocol. His family has supported him through 66 doses of chemotherapy in his lifetime and couldn't be happier with how well he has done! With four graduation certificates under his belt, this boy should have his PhD in chemotherapy. Congratulations Mr. Darcy!

We are ecstatic to see how well Breezy did throughout her radiation treatment with us for her nasal lymphoma! Breezy presented to us for radiation after her recent diagnosis of nasal lymphoma. Her nasal mass was so large that it was putting pressure on her eye and causing facial deformity. Fortunately, she responded so well to her radiation protocol that we could see small improvements each day after her radiation treatments. We were happy to have her stay with us in our hospital throughout her treatments and she became part of the Onco Team! Way to go Breezy!!!

Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) originates from the epithelial lining of the mouth and is the most common tumor of the mouth in cats by far. OSCCs are malignant because they are locally nvasive, and with time it can spread both locally to the regional lymph node and via the blood stream to the lungs systemically. We currently have a trial that is investigating treatment for feline oral squamous cell carcinoma. To see if your cat qualifies, please use the link below to take a survey.

Dear Oncology Clients,

We have updated our appointment reminder system! You will now receive an emailed appointment reminder prior to your next scheduled visit. Please ensure that your email address is correct in our system so that you keep current of your pet's appointment date and time. Very occasionally, clients report that the email was flagged in their junk file (so sad 😿), so it may be good to check there first. Please call (573.882.7821) if you have any issues with receiving the reminders and our team will be happy to assist you.
Our clients and patients are the 😍 BEST🥰 and we can't wait to see you soon!
