Good morning, friends! This is Misty, a kitten who showed up alone on the front porch of Little White Friend Sarah Grim in December. Sarah safely trapped her (the third cat she trapped since October!). Misty was spayed, microchipped, tested, and given other treatments at a vet. Now she is headed to a foster home with other kittens before adoption to a happy home. Sarah says, “Giving back by rescuing cats is what I do while I can.” Thank you so much for saving so many, Sarah!

Barnie's Place Feline Rescue Sheba is available for adoption! She's a soft kitty with a chatty tortoise shell personality! She loves to do nothing more than spend time getting pets and love! She is 100% reliable for litter pan and is easy care. She loves Friskies wet filets and Purina One dry cat food. She is good with you trimming her nails and hasn't scratched furniture in her foster home. She does appreciate cat scratches and warm blankets to snuggle on.

Does well as only cat or with pets who respect her personal space. Please check her out!

If your cat gets out instructions

1. Check your outside camera daily.
2. Contact neighbors who have outside cameras. Ask them to check to see if your lost pet shows up.
3. Once lost pet is seen, check daily to determine a pattern of pet visiting the camera area. Write this down. As long as pet is missing check for pet's routine by camera.
4. Once pet's routine is known, set out traps only during that time frame. Cover trap, use canned salmon if lost pet is a cat. Monitor the trap with outside cameras. Release any unwanted trapped animals as soon as possible. Then wash trap thoroughly before using again.
5. Do not leave trap out except for lostt pet's routine time frame.
6. Continue as long as needed.

I followed this and trapped my George after 44 days outside. It works. George started showing up at my house between 8-10 pm about 7 days after gettingout. I would set trap on porch from 7:40 to whenever I saw him leave, usually around 9 pm. Sometimes he'd almost go in but walk off. Canned salmon did the trick on Feb 26th. George would also visit another neighbor, he'd be there before or after stopping at my porch. He was only out at night. And he was scared, so I could not just open the door for him.

You have to use what's available. Outside cameras work and typically folks in your neighborhood will have one. Business too.

George is the most grateful cat ever for me rescuing him from the outdoors a 2nd time.
