🐾 Meet Milo! 🐶💙

This sweet 2-year-old pitbull mix came to SCVSEC in critical condition and needed immediate emergency care. After a thorough assessment, our amazing ER vet, Dr. Corlew, diagnosed him with anaphylactic shock - a life-threatening reaction that required fast action.

Thanks to the quick thinking, skill, and compassion of our Emergency team (plus lots of cuddles!), Milo pulled through. After two days of intensive care, he was strong enough to head home to his loving family.

We’re so happy to share Milo’s story and celebrate another happy ending! 🥹💙

Some people are just meant to be here—and Ava is one of them. 💫

Ava started out as a client, walking through our doors with a sick pup... and walked out with not only a healthier fur baby, but also a new role on our team! That kind of story doesn’t happen often, but we’re so glad it did.

Since then, Ava has worked both daytime and overnight shifts as a CSR, and she brings something truly special to every moment. Her warmth, her calming presence, and her ability to connect with people during stressful times is something we deeply admire. 🐾💛
