It saddens us deeply to learn about our friend and past board member Paul “Skip” Whaley had passed away on Sunday, Jan. 26.
Skip was a great friend and a man of many talents … electrical, plumbing, construction, grounds keeper and helped at shows and in the kitchen. He had a good sense of humor and kept us laughing. He not only helped us at CRC but also active with 4H. He was so proud of his daughter and loved watching her show her horses. The last few years he was enjoying the camping life.
Skip had many friends and will be missed by all! Our sincere sympathy goes out to his family and all who loved him! ❤️

2024 Show season is a wrap for CRC ... ending with a fantastic Member & Awards Banquet today at the Columbia VFW Post 2435.
So much fun ... great awards, great friends and a great meal. Door prizes and freebies too!

Weather on Saturday was great for our fall clean up ... getting the show grounds ready for winter. Only a few but mighty workers showed up to help. Thank You to the Manor FFA girls ... Lillian, KK and Mabel. It's awesome to see teenagers volunteering their time to help us!
Thank Mike W. for bringing his trailer to help gather up the picnic tables and benches. Mike & Lillian took care of placing them nicely under the pavillion for winter.
Brent took care of collecting all the piled up fallen limbs that happened over the show season. Sally and Terry also helped with raking and disposal of all those leaves.
CRC is now ready for the winter months! 🤠

Passing along some great news… Emma shows at CRC and qualified for PA National Horse Therapeutic class at CRC class in August. She won her class at the PA National show. Congratulations Emma!!!

What a great day for our last event at CRC this season ... Trail Challenge Play Day
So many CRC friends and a lot of new faces were at the play day. So much fun and watching everyone working with their equines to overcome the scary obstacles and the challenging obstacles. Building confidence with your equine partner and enjoying the day.
Thank you everyone who enjoyed all our Trail Challenges this season. We will definitely have then next year! 😀

What a fantastic and HUGE show we had on Sunday ... K.I.S.S. Spooktacular Open Fun Show
The costume class was another hit just like last year ... 32 entries in this class ... WOW it was so hard to judge this awesome class. We had 11 divisions winning trophies including the BEST costume.
Later in the day we had a kid's candy scramble ... they all got enough candy to last them a week (maybe 😁haha).
