Just an update for everyone, thanks to everyone who has brought deer into us this year so far! Been a great season for us and thanks to all the new faces and the people giving our name out to people. We are accepting deer in the evenings and weekends by appointment. On Sundays we close early afternoon usually before 3 for family time. If you call after hours please leave a voicemail or text us and we will contact you as soon as we can. We also hunt and during the rut and gun season there will be times we will be closed for hunting for ourselves for a few days at a time. Good luck everyone on the deer season and be safe out there! We also work full time so please text us or leave a voicemail during daytime hours and we will contact you after 5pm.

Something we take great pride in is our boar mounts which we feel turn out very detailed and realistic. These top quality hogs were taken at the Double D Ranch in Mcarthur Ohio. The Double D is a top notch quality hunting preserve that we are proud to call our family. I need all of our great customers help on a matter. Hog hunting in ohio is being threatened by house bill 503. The wondrous house of representatives, the ohio pork producers , the ODNR , and several other groups put together a bill to stop ALL hog hunting ohio. You will not be able to kill a hog in the wild unless you own the property. If your hunting property that's not yours you will be required to report it to the the ODNR or face a fine. Sound like communism to me. The ranches in ohio that do hog hunting and exotics according to the bill could face fines and a felony charge if found in possession of a wild hog. This will force hard working tax paying citizens to close there business that have been in business for 35 to 40+years! It will cause loss of business for exotic game farmers and taxidermist like us. Please email call and harass all these people before more of our rights are taken away. I personally if this bill would pass the senate and our lustrous RINO govenor signs it, will not ever report and hog activity to the ODNR at any time. There will be one less hog in the wild I will guarantee this!!!!! All the child molesters drug dealers, ra**st and murderers out there and this is what they do in ohio. Time to speak up. this just one issue in hunting and the JOs in Columbus will make up more hogwash to take away more of your rights.

I received a message this morning from our family at the Double "D" Ranch that our dear friend Bill Patton passed yesterday morning. Bill was a great man who we all loved and spent alot of time with over the years. Whether it was hunting or just sitting around having a cold beer shooting the breeze he was always full of laughs and wit and I learned alot from him in our talks. I was lucky enough to have hunted with Bill several times and to have mounted several of his trophies for him over the years. Bill was a Vietnam War vet serving several tours as a screaming eagle in the 101st Airborne and retired from the US Army. We all will sure miss him and all of you that never met Bill would have felt the same way as us and he was loved by all. RIP Bill see you again someday! Love ya brother!!!

Today I learned that we lost a dear friend, long time customer an all around great person to everyone that knew him! He will be missed greatly and please say a prayer for his beautiful wife Gail and his son and daughter as they go thru this process. As Bill would end all conversations, Love you brother!!
