Oz Moody ❤️
“Oz was adopted from Citizens for Humane Action in 2014. He came into his Mommy’s world when she wasn’t even looking, but it was love at first sight – she took him home that day & he quickly adjusted to his new life with his cat sister, Persephone. Oz was between 4 – 8 years old at the time so he was full of boundless energy & was always so happy & smiling. He was also very tiny, weighing only 5 pounds so everyone through his whole life thought he was a puppy!
Oz loved sitting in the sunshine & by the window, he was crazy for his squeaky toys – running after them when they were tossed & biting them constantly until the squeakers stopped squeaking. The house was filled with adorable little squeaks & little barks / calls for tug of war.
Oz loved long walks & being held like a baby. He adored being cradled while his Mommy danced & sang his song “Close to You” by The Carpenters. He had a little white p**f of hair at the top of his head that occasionally would be trimmed into a mohawk & he never once complained about that nor did he ever complain about the various baby clothes & pajamas he often wore.
Oz was an avid traveler – he saw the ocean & beaches & he loved car rides & the wind in his hair.
He was a big foodie – treats included pizza crusts (his favourite,) chicken & cottage cheese. He was a gypsy child, born of the sky & stars…
And on 11/25/2024 – his soul returned to the sky.
Oz will always be his Mommy’s beloved son & is missed more than he will ever know. Goodnight, my dreaming star… Until we meet again” — Remembered by Allison Moody
