It’s been a while since I showed off the young man who started it all for me! I had plenty of geckos before Umbreon and was always interested in breeding, but if the cappuccino enthusiasm hadn’t been so contagious and I never connected with the community, I’m not sure I’d ever have built my collection to where it is today. Now, I work with more than just cappuccinos of course, but I definitely consider Umbreon the cornerstone of my collection, and really the start of my passion for the species. He has multiple sons and daughters joining my breeding roster in 2025, and he’s not ready to retire yet either!

This year, I only had one potential pairing for him and it didn’t take off right away; recently though, despite it being kind of late in the season, she finally laid some fertile looking eggs, so we’ll see what happens!

It’s been quite a while since I featured Colada on my page— she’s a bit of a hassle to get to fire up! She’ll be just over two years old by the 2025 season, but she’s still rather petite at barely 40g, so I’m going to give her another year at least before considering her for any breeding projects.

Colada is a cappuccino produced in house out of River x Umbreon 💕

Tetsutetsu has been a part of the gang here for a while, but his first year breeding won’t be until next year! He was passed around quite a lot as a hatchling and young adult, and I had him listed a few times myself before I ultimately decided to keep him and bring him into the fold. I plan to put him with my cappuccino female Espeon, who produced several nice offspring last season with Umbreon before producing a super cappuccino (whoops). Tetsu’s nice structure and bold pinstripe should go a long way in the offspring, as long as he can get the job done!

I was hoping to have some more fresh hatchlings to feature, but unfortunately my last clutch scheduled to hatch in August failed to cut the egg and didn’t make it… still, I’m happy to introduce this fresh hatchling from Ice Spice and Balthazar! I really like the orangey blushing on the sides, I can’t wait to see how they develop.

While I’m on the subject of geckos I’m growing up for the 2026 season, I thought it’d be nice to share King Neptune! I usually don’t hope for males, but I really would love a non-phantom lily boy to help round out my breeding collection.

King Neptune was produced by Zupi Reptiles LLC out of Cyanide x Namaste.

I posted on my personal page and Instagram, but I completely spaced on showing these kids off on Facebook, sorry followers! Every year, I pick out a snake for my birthday around the end of August and treat myself a little bit…

Introducing this year’s birthday snake, produced by Stygian Exotics! Prada is a rare captive born/bred Saharan Sand Boa (Eryx muelleri), and in all her beauty, she rounds out my future breeding group to two males and two females. I also took updated pictures of the rest of my muelleri, you can see their names and details in the description!

Pazuzu is growing well here, I’m so excited to have a dalmation of her quality in my collection! She won’t be ready to join the breeding roster until 2026, but she’s going to be pioneering my dalmation tiger cappuccino project with Barbed Wire when the time is right!

I don’t know what exactly I’m gonna do with this kid in 2026 once he’s ready to join the breeding group… but I’ve got plenty of time to find out! Will I put him with a capp? A lily? Another tiger? Something else entirely? The possibilities are endless!

Future breeder feature: Double Rainbow!

Double Rainbow was one of my Tinley pickups from October 2023 and she’s blossomed gorgeously between now and then. She’s far past her weight requirements, and I’m very excited for her to be joining my breeding ranks in 2025! My plans aren’t set in stone, but my most likely pairing choice for her is one of my cappuccino boys from Umbreon, Rum Punch. Besides high pattern harlequin being a good match for cappuccino, both geckos have a citrus-y undertone that I’d love to see repeated or intensified in the offspring!

Heart Attack is growing up great here, swipe for some fired up pictures of this somewhat recent pickup of mine from a local breeder! She’s grown into an unfortunate shade of green which isn’t exactly my cup of tea, but she’s still going to be fantastic nonetheless in dark pairings down the line, and I’m looking forward to seeing what she can do when 2026 rolls around! It’s almost 2026… right? It’s so hard to be patient sometimes 😂

New hatchlings from V***n and Balthazar! After the first clutch I was starting to think I was only going to get phantoms, but I was overjoyed to see a bright little flame this afternoon while I was checking on eggs. Looks like Solitude may grow into a red phantom too, which will definitely inform future pairings with Balthazar moving forward! So far, the older two siblings Helgen and Whiterun are looking like they’re gonna be dark based like Balthazar himself, so this clutch definitely has me on my toes and excited for the next round ❤️

Crimson Dawn and Red Glare, a pairing I plan for 2025! I’m slowly realizing that I have… a lot… of 2025 plans, and I’m considering downsizing on these two. I keep going back and forth though, because I would love to be producing more reds down the line! I haven’t listed them on MM, but anyone who wants to take them on can message me for more details! (Not interested in splitting up the pair, sorry! 😜)

Another baby chahoua joins the hatchling club! These eggs are much tougher to incubate and laid less frequently than crested eggs, so my success with the species has been somewhat inconsistent. Still, I’m happy to welcome baby Katana into the reptile room!

If you’re looking for a chahoua, I would also like to casually mention that I have three on my Morphmarket right now, one of which is a guaranteed female around eight months old 😜 (Interested in trades for nice cresteds and also looking for another male chahoua)

It hasn’t been that long since my last Gummy Worm update, but I’m excited to share some progress! Gummy has doubled in size and is sitting at around 8g right now; I took a moment to look for pores, and I do believe that Gummy Worm might be a female! Time will tell of course. No glaring structural deformities yet and she’s smashing crickets like a champion— the only thing I noticed out of the ordinary is a slight underbite that I don’t think will cause any issues with her quality of life moving forward.

Her growth spurt has me optimistic for the path ahead, I’ll keep posting updates as I learn more!

I realized the other day that some of my new 2025 breeders are hitting size and so it’s time to start gathering updated pictures! Soul Fire was… less than cooperative in the light box, but it’s okay because I’m not sure he’ll see any action until 2026, if I don’t end up using a different guy for my projects instead. I’m not sure I like what lily white does to tigers, I was sad to see a lot of his stripes fade out as he grew.

Soul Fire was produced by Angelina at Squeakin Geckos out of Tiger x Kurama

Rum Punch is one of my favorite Umbreon holdbacks due to his unique paradox spot. Who else has paradox geckos? I can’t wait to introduce him into my 2025 breeding lineup to see if he passes it on like a birth mark! Wouldn’t that be cool?

Every time I take updated pictures for Dagger’s MM listing, I find myself increasing her price and all the more hesitant to let her go 🫣

In truth, I really have no idea what the chewie market is supposed to look like, and browsing other listings hasn’t been super helpful because the range is all over the place.

I hope you’re all ready to see some new arrivals on my page! I really can’t stop myself from taking good deals 😂

I got this sweet young lady, now called Pazuzu, on a Morphmarket auction from Sevachko Exotics ( on Instagram) recently! We had to wait a little while before shipping weather was safe, but now I finally get to see her in person and I’m absolutely blown away! With her arrival, I decided to keep that tiger cappuccino (Barbed Wire) that went male on me… he’s covered in dalmation spots and I think they’d make a great pair, so 2026 plans are now brewing!

One more new release to hit Morphmarket by the end of the week, we have Goose! Goose is a low expression cappuccino from Espeon x Umbreon, and between that and the dalmation spots, I don’t really consider them to be remarkable breeder quality. If you’re looking to get started on the cappuccino gene with lineage on a tight budget though, this may still be the one for you!

My second ever batch of chahouas is getting big and they’re officially ready to go, and while I’m at it I also got some fresh pictures of the eldest who’s now big enough for me to predict female on! Pictured in order are Saber, Rapier and Dagger— all these babies come from Alduin and Anise who have a fair amount of pink/red in their pattern, and you can see the color starting to come in on Dagger for sure! Any of these babies would make excellent pets or future breeders.

Now, part of the reason I started breeding chahouas was as trade bait for nice crested geckos, so if you have something that you think might align with my breeding projects, feel free to reach out!

I couldn’t get Leppa to fire up fully for his Morphmarket debut yesterday, but I attached a month old picture at the end that shows him off a bit better at the very end! If you’re looking for some nice red dals on a budget, be sure to wander on over to my Morphmarket to see what I’ve got going on right now 😜

This young possible male, Perisim, and his (possible) male brother Leppa (not pictured) will be going live on Morphmarket today! Persim has some really interesting green spotting going on, I think he’d make a great addition to a project focused on that. Peep his listing on Morphmarket for more info!

07/15/2024

This breeding season had a slow start, so while I’m waiting for things to hatch and grow, I thought it’d be a nice idea to temporarily offer up this future pair of dalmations to spice up my Morphmarket page! I think they’d make a great pair for a new breeder or any dalmation enthusiast, and anyone familiar with dals knows this pair has a good chance of out producing itself and passing on those big chunky spots in multitudes. They’ll likely produce a range of bright red/oranges like mom, and rusty dark reds like dad, with a chance of some brown bases as well from dad’s lineage.

These two are both completely unrelated and I can offer extended lineage on both, and I planned to put them together myself in 2026 depending on their continued growth and development of course. Be sure to peep my Morphmarket for more details!

This young cappuccino who I picked up for my tiger project turned out to be a young man rather than a young lady at 25g… I have so many male capp holdbacks that this makes him a little redundant for my breeding lineup! That’s just the game you play when you buy young; I’ll be sorry to see him go but can’t justify his continued stay for my breeding goals, so find him and more info on my Morphmarket!

Zeus has no lineage, and I have no reason to keep a male possible capp with no evidence backing him up… but I haven’t been able to bring myself to let him go in the past year that I’ve had him! He is a proven breeder, but due to the situation and the pairing he was with before I got him AND the fact that they only produced three live offspring in my care, I can’t draw any solid conclusions about his capp status… The pattern on his sides makes me think no, but the color overall and the tail make me think yes? I’m just gonna pair him with a lily next year, then we’ll know for sure! I’m so ready for some of these geckos I have to grow so I can make some more solid 2026 plans.
