We had great fun at the Pet Expo!!! ✅🐾
It’s going on now in Columbus!
It’s the end of the TICA show season, and there are not many Ragdolls, but we enjoyed seeing our friends and so many lovely cats & dogs on the outside of the show! I’ve never been to a pet expo & was totally enthralled ❤️❤️❤️
We will be there with our GSD, Kim, tomorrow!

Ragdoll kittens first car ride! 🥳🚙🗺️FULL VIDEO
This little one did not want to be secured in a cat carrier for this ride. I do recommend for the safety of our kittens that they are secured in a carrier for car rides… however, in this situation the benefits of a lap snuggle outweighed the risks.
I ran out of toys midway through the journey. Had to get creative. Little kitten likes reggaeton. Was fascinated by the windshield wipers and passing cars. Not a fan of some of the bumps and rumble strips - but neither are we.
He played well into the 3rd hour of the drive, then we both fell asleep …
Kittens, ESPECIALLY Ragdoll kittens can read and feel human energy. By us staying calm, and playing with him in this situation kept him calm as well.
When my body naturally began to relax into pre-sleep mode, he began nesting into the blanket and cocooning himself into his resting place, that’s when we both fell asleep. My body and energy qued him that it was okay to relax.
Ragdoll kittens are super responsive to their owner’s energy!
Side note:
My first time transporting one of my kittens by car
(4 hours one way). Normally, my eldest son is our driving and flying courier, but this time I got the honors!
We do offer personalized courier service for our kittens to be delivered. Please see website for more information.
We have a new litter to post for adoption in just a few days! Check the website often as they do reserve very fast this time of year!

Ragdoll cats and kittens are great for leash and harness training!
This Moonseed Graduate story is how a young owner & her family properly socialized & trained their Ragdoll kitten to become a traveling companion.
It’s not all about great 🩸+ 🧬, the owners had a vision and we worked together to pair them with the right kitten - It was obvious to me that he needed them as much as they needed him. It was also obvious to me that this kitten had the capacity for training & he also really thrived on close & constant companionship - it was a great match.
The owners wanted a Ragdoll as a travel companion for emotional support. They were really on-board and began his socializing and training immediately.
If you were to ask me if Ragdoll cats come “out of the box” adaptable, social, and able to travel around as emotional support companions, I think my initial response would be “no”.
They do not all come “out of the box” that way.
Even with great breeding & early socializing, it truly is a matter of socializing & training on the part of the owner to mold the kitten into being able to positively associate travel by leash/harness/backpack/airplane, and whatever other means.
Also, Ragdolls are super sensitive to human energy.
I had time to get to know the owner and her mother and I read a very calm & confident energy off of both of them. This energy does absolute wonders for these young kittens as they are training and finding their own confidence.
Our Ragdoll kittens & cats feel our emotions big time. If you work with horses or dogs you can equate it that way.
I truly think emotional energy plays a role in some of the speed bumps in training that some folks may initially have … these are just my thoughts and observations regarding this very intuitive and highly preceptive breed.
The end of this story is that this now large ( and still young) Ragdoll is indeed a great emotional support companion to his college bound owner.
