Today we’re excited to introduce someone very special who has been such an important part of Fido’s, our formulator, Rita Hogan.
Rita is a canine herbalist with decades of experience working with dogs and a deep understanding of herbal energetics. What we love most about her approach is that she looks beyond symptoms and considers each dog as a whole being, their constitution, energy, tendencies, and individual needs.
When we first began developing our bone broth formulas back in 2022, we knew we wanted guidance from someone who truly understood how herbs interact with the canine body. Rita’s wisdom, intuition, and clinical knowledge helped shape our Digestion, Mobility, and Longevity bone broths, as well as our Allergy Herbal & Mushroom blend and we are so grateful for her partnership.
Earlier this year, she released her first book, The Herbal Dog, and it has been inspiring to see her share her knowledge with so many dog parents and holistic practitioners.
We feel incredibly lucky to collaborate with someone who brings such depth, care, and thoughtfulness to everything she touches. Here’s to the magic that happens when expertise and heart come together for our dogs’ wellbeing. 🌿
