Organs in The Raw Diet: Whole prey animals are best with the fur and feathers. Whole grass-fed is second best. If you are feeding grain-fed animals trim the fat off. Choose lean meats, not much over 10% fat. Feed 15% organs if you can find a good variety. If you can only find liver, feed 10%. If you are not feeding eye-balls and brain your dog may be deficient in DHA.
