The annual Polk County Toy Run took place this past Saturday. It's such a great event and cause. Thank you to all the sponsors, volunteers and especially all the riders for all that you do. I was told there was 261 riders that helped deliver toys for the kids in Polk County, WOW! In light of what has happened over the last few months in the aftermath of the storm, it was a beautiful sight to see all those motorcycles roaring down the road. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to All!!
The annual Blessing of the Hounds on Thanksgiving in Landrum this morning. Not quite like Moore County (those that know, know) since there was little tailgating and...uh not much alcohol😂but still a great tradition for our area.
2024 Tryon Beer Fest
We were asked to film some aerial footage of this year's annual Tryon Beer Fest, it was a good time had by all. Lots of good beer, food and friends. Thank you to the Tryon Downtown Development Association for allowing us to be a part of it. #TryonBeerFest #tryonnc #craftbeer #beerlovers #lovemyjob #aerialview #seeingtheworldfromadifferentview
We were out looking for a lost boxer last week and came across this nice buck. I love the zoom capabilites on the Mavic 3T.
BTW, the boxer is safe and sound at home. We did an extensive search of the area and determined the dog was not in the area. The owners expanded the reach of the posters way beyond where we searched ... and magically the dog returned a couple of days later. The owners believe someone had him and then saw the signs and let him go. Another happy reunion!! #ilovemyjob #seeingtheworldfromadifferentview #lovewhatwedo #dronesrock #eyesinthesky #lostpets #DroneSearch #thermaldrones #LostPetSearch #petsreunited

FYI, We will be unavailable for lost animal searches from Monday September 9th through Thursday September 19th. We will be back in action for searches on Friday September 20th.
We're always being asked what type of animals we can see out there when we are searching for lost pets. Here is a short video of some, that we have caught on camera during searches and practice flights. We do try to practice whenever we can to help improve our skills and success. Deer, horses, and yes, racoons. #thermaldrones #havingfun #ilovemyjob #dronesrock #LostPetSearch #seeingtheworldfromadifferentview
It's a bit late, but I put together a real short video of the fireworks in Columbus this past 4th of July. It's awesome, I was able to send Reba drone straight up from our driveway to see all the fireworks. Not real long, enjoy! #ilovemyjob #columbusnc #havingfun #dronesrock #seeingtheworldfromadifferentview #cool #fireworks #GodBlessAmerica #4thofjuly
Addy Is Found!
So what did you all do this past holiday? Our busy 4th of July continued into the weekend with lost dog searches Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday morning (continuation of the Sat. night search).
We received a call on Friday from an owner whose German Shorthaired Pointer took off on the 4th due to fireworks. We did an extensive aerial search of the area, again very wooded and we saw a lot of deer (what else is new) and other critters but unfortunately did not see the lost dog. 😔 However we found out the next day that someone had caught the dog earlier so we couldn't have seen her anyways. It's all good because she was returned to the owners that evening 😀
Saturday afternoon we received a message from an owner whose 1 year old Basset Hound had slipped her harness on the 4th. This one was literally a mile down the road in Columbus, so we were excited to help. We got up in the air around 7:15pm based on a sighting from earlier in the day. That sighting had her back at the location she was lost from so we felt pretty confident that she was bedded down somewhere close by. We flew for an hour or so and then took a break until it got fairly dark before going back up, hoping she would be out and about looking for water/food. We were in a very residential area (but wooded still) so it was a little touchy using the spotlight (I had spoken to local authorities to let them know the situation beforehand in case they got calls about UFOs). Unfortunately, we did not locate her during that search. Because we live so close and because we felt real strongly that the dog was close by, we decided to come back the next morning really early to do more searching. Well that worked... She had been spotted the previous morning as well so we thought she could be out wandering. 3rd battery in, I got her, close by, wandering up the road, YES!!!!. They weren't able to catch her at that point as she was still scared a bit and running (as fast as a Basset Hound can run). We tracked
Gwen and I took a short trip to Boston on Mothers Day weekend and we were able to get to the South Shore, we took some video in Scituate and Duxbury, hope you enjoy it and thanks for watching! #duxburyma #powderpoint #scituatema #itsyourcousinfromboston #vistingmyfam #expensiveweekend #seeingtheworldfromadifferentview #havingfun #love2fly #herecomessummer #oldscituatelight #oceanvibes
