It’s time to get your pre orders in! We have Christmutt Dinners, gingerbread house kits, cookies and pupcakes abound! We bake and decorate almost every day so stock is always rotating and fresh 🥰 Special hours this holiday season: December 17-20th, 10-7pm; December 21st+22nd 9-7pm, Monday December 23rd 10-6pm. Order for your pets or for a furiend.. we even added an additional customizable Santa hat cookie for easy gifting ! Special reminder we will be closed the week of December 30th, reopening on January 7th. If you’re celebrating a birthday/gotcha day in that time , order ahead of time and freeze in some Tupperware and thaw the day before serving.

Hey Furiends 👋🏼! We have news: Santa and the Grinch are planning to come to Cakehound in December 🙌🏼. The scoop: photos are all taken using your camera with the help of volunteers who are fundraising for Friends of the Shelter. Friends of the Shelter funds the medical care for sick and injured dogs of the Franklin County Dog Shelter. Public photos are $10 , cash or card, and first come first serve. Private photos are $20 and need to be booked in advance online through Cakehound. The listing can be found under the seasonal tab or by searching private photos (you’ll need back to back sessions if you’re bringing several dogs- or be aware you only have 15 minutes to do photos and shop). Sunday December 8th is Village Lights from 5-9- a neighborhood wide event with luminary lined streets, carolers, street vendors and the shops stay open late. Get ahead of the crowd and shop the businesses after you get your photos with Santa!!

Have you had the chance to pre order your dogs Pupsgiving Feast yet?! Mama T and I will be baking up a storm Friday and need a plan for supply shopping. Pre order deadline is Nov. 21st- after that it’ll be up to chance that we have an extra one baked for you. Help us help you by ordering in advance 😊 meals are meat heavy turkey loaf with spinach and cheese, roasted sweet potato and a pupkin pie. In total it’s ~1.5 cups of food so enough for one dog to enjoy, or share with a pal, or use as a special topper (if you have self control 😅) over several days. Howlin’ Hound was a smash! We raised $450 for @sts.ohio , with 225 dogs signed up and a total of 210 in attendance 👏🏼 yall came out to PAWTY yesterday - many of you in full group costumes which is mega impressive. Can’t wait to do this again!!! If you missed out on spooky treatos , fear not, we’ll have them in the bakery cases until they’re gone! Happy Howloween 👻

It’s our 3rd anniversary week!

It’s our anniversary week! I can’t help but reflect on the beginning days of this space on this 3rd anniversary… As we snuggle into the fourth business year and the beginning/middle!? section of time I’d like to reflect back onto that foundation. Building a business is HARD. The vision at least came easily to me. The pieces all fell into place naturally. I knew what I was going to create and everything I wanted and didn’t want to be. I was and am so fortunate to have “a guy” for almost everything and mine were my husband, parents, various tradesmen and skilled friends. Without their help my foundation would have been weak, but with them I felt able to take on the world. They helped me build and create a space that’s fresh, open, inviting and fun. A space where you can bring your pet(s), hang out and buy some high quality treats and products. We strive to make the best fancy treats your dog can eat while staying in the fresh and natural parameters. We strive to stock our shelves with the highest quality accessories and treats while still supporting local and small businesses. This in itself is a separate dance and the steps always seem to change mid way.. We do it because it’s important. It’s what you deserve. We love you and your pets and we want ya to come back for more! I don’t know where I’d be without my staff. A handful of amazing folks have joined the team over the years and help keep the wheels on when at times they were surely about to fall off. We can all show up day after day and bake our hearts content but we couldn’t do that if you didn’t shop with us. So thank you for 3 years of support. We hope to see you and your pups around for many years to come 🤗

Having a gingerbread house making competition with my family has been a Christmas Tradition for years, which is why last year I put knife to dough and designed one for the dogs 🐶 not only are these fun to create, but the dogs can actually eat them!! When is the last time anyone ate one of their crusty houses!? The kits range from $20 with your most basic supplies to $36 adding on additional frosting colors and cookies. Available in store or online beginning Dec. 13th, although we recommend pre ordering.
