Dr. Cowley hosted a K9 safety class for Russell County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit yesterday, and it went great! We appreciate all the hard work these guys put in and are grateful to be able to support their efforts in keeping our community safe💙🖤
A proper send off for the best boy Lux💙🖤🌈
Where do we even begin…
Lux was a retired K9 with the Russell County Sheriff’s Department. During his many years serving, he did it with all of his heart and soul and body. He dedicated his life to keeping his community safe. Even when his body couldn’t handle full duty and he had to retire, he kept his community close to him and he was loved by all. We had the pleasure of having Lux as a patient for years and every time he came in, he was a staff favorite and would get surrounded with love and his favorite-peanut butter. Lux came in weekly for laser therapy with his favorite technician Ruby and would get all of the peanut butter he could eat. He was the perfect patient for everything and would let us do anything we wanted to him. Including having a spa day with a bath, blow out, nail trim, and even painting his toe nails in his colors-black and blue. Our hearts are hurting with the loss of this precious boy and we ask everyone to keep his handler Sergeant Evans, his family, and all of the Russell County Sheriff’s Department K9 team members in your thoughts and prayers during this tough time. Lux, you will always be in our hearts and your legacy will live on forever. Fly high K9 Lux🖤💙
Roadie says “I lost my spleen, but gained a cupcake!”🐶
Roadie is one of the bestest boys around and we’re so happy he’s feeling better after his splenectomy. He was a trooper through the whole process and is doing great as you can see!
Physical therapist or personal masseuse?😂 Rose cant contain her excitement when she first gets here but it doesn’t take her long to settle down with Candice🧘🏻♀️🌀
Retired Sheriff K9 Lux thoroughly enjoyed his custom made cookie from Three Dog Columbus when he came in for laser therapy today!
