Lots of things In the world make me happy. However, getting good, no, freaking awesome hay from a guy who is honest sends me over the happiness edge! Thank you to Beam Farms and Stuart Beam! You nailed it! My client horses heads were hurried in it! Had to let three of them bunk in a different area last night because they were happy and nose deep in it. I highly recommend this farm for your hay needs!

Feeding tip: Horses need to eat between 1-2% of their body weight daily. If you have a horse not gaining weight or you need to keep weight on in the winter bump them up to at least 2%. If you grain them, then feed 2% of a good quality hay, plus their grains recipe.

When boarders have asked to keep their horses out in a pasture overnight, this is the reason why we do not allow this at Sisterhood Stables. Tree fell on the bottom pasture near the guest cottage. No horses were hurt, not did they escape because of our safety policy. Thank you Chris Norton for finding this on his morning perimeter check.

Day 1 working with Tito. I was able to approach, catch and halter outside of this stall!!! Then was able to attach a lead rope and walk and trot in a circle. He pulled and I had to dig in, but he eventually gave to the pressure and I got a loose lead for a full circle. I also walked him out of a stall and opened a gate and got him through. When I took his halter off he did not leave. Huge Baby steps and I will take it!
