Recovery is going well, and I am slowly getting back to work caping deer, so I will be contacting people in the next few weeks to get a time set to bring them in.

Just wanted to post an update for my customers. On November 27th I was able to have surgery to fix all of the broken bones in my legs and feet. I am still not able to put weight on either leg while I continue to heal. The day of surgery the doctor told me it would be approximately 10 weeks before he would let me start putting weight on either leg.
If you would like to get on my wait list of people that I will contact once I’m able to get back to work please contact me on my cell (620)762-1193. Just a reminder that if you have a deer that you are unable to keep frozen, Matt George at Oswego Locker is allowing my customers to store their deer in his walk-in freezer until I am back to work. Really appreciate your support of me and my business and ask for patience as I continue to heal.

Thanks to the generosity of Matt George at Oswego Locker, anybody that needs cold storage on a deer that you would like for me to mount can take it to Oswego Locker at 12063 US-59, Oswego, Kansas. Their phone number is 6207954723. Let them know that you would like your deer held to be mounted by Bucks N’ Beards Taxidermy. They will take your name and contact information. Once I am back to work, I will pick up your deer at the Oswego Locker and contact you to work out the details.

To my valued customers,

On Friday, November 10, I was in an accident where I fell from my tree stand a little over 20 feet to the ground. The fall resulted in me having multiple broken bones in both my legs. Because of my injuries, I will be having surgery in the near future. I am unable to put any weight on either of my legs. Rough estimate is that I will be off my feet in a wheelchair for 6-8 weeks. I am making plans to get a walk-in freezer built which will allow customers to drop their deer off if they do not have the option of storing it themselves. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes for my customers. I appreciate your continued support and patience while I am trying to find an alternative solution.
