My previous post was the 5 year celebration of Rosie's Mobile Grooming Salon ....Thank you!!! I love Rosie's and all the people and dogs..everyone has always been so supportive of me.
Rosie's Mobile Grooming Salon will be closed for some months, as of Thursday June 5th.
I have severe degenerative bone disease/arthritis in my right hand. It has made it difficult to work. I am having surgery on my right hand on Thursday (of course, I am right handed). It is quite an extensive procedure, as they will repair the thumb and remaining fingers (lost miss pinky last fall🤪). The thumb procedure requires 12 weeks of immobilization. The other fingers should heal in 6 weeks or so. 12 weeks immobilized, then 3 months of rehab for the thumb. In order to have a functional hand, the surgery is needed. I've put it off and have relied on steroid injections for past 18 months. The injections no longer are effective. I found out this past Friday the surgery is scheduled for the 5th. As most of you know, I had been preparing for this by having a 2nd groomer. Unfortunately, that did not work out as expected. So, there is no one to take on the business while I am off. I apologize for the sudden interruption and inconvenience, of the care of all the fur babies. I have 2 groomers to recommend. One is mobile and new to Columbus and one has a shop in Taylorsville. Thanks to everyone. I hope to be back on the road by Christmas! I love you guys. I'll miss seeing everyone. Keep me in your prayers. And I'll keep you in mine. 😍🥰
