Introduction:
"Pipe tunnels are common obstacles used in dog agility courses, which require the dog to run through a flexible pipe that is supported by a series of hoops. Currently, these tunnels can be made of different materials such as PVC, nylon, or rubber and can vary in length and diameter. Safety is a crucial concern in dog agility, as the sport involves
a high degree of physical activity from dogs. Therefore, it is important to evaluate the safety of pipe tunnels used in dog agility courses in the UK."

Circuit Conditioning Workshop at Unleashed Dog Training this Saturday!

Starts at 11:15am.

This fun conditioning workshop features 5-6 stations with different fitness exercises, chosen to give your dog a complete whole body workout. We rotate through all exercises twice after a warm up and exercise demonstration of each station. We end with a cool down and a happy, tired pup! No previous experience in conditioning is required, however, please do not register a dog younger than 1 year of age. No two Circuit Conditioning workshops are the same!

Save the date! We will be having an official AKC Fit Dog Walk on March 5th at 1pm! The location will be announced shortly, it will be in the Reynoldsburg/North East side of Columbus. We will be exploring parks all over Columbus and surrounding areas, so don't worry if this one is too far, another will be coming along. :)

Keeping a dog fit and lean sometimes can be a challenge, especially when they give you "the look"...
But we need to work on our tough love in order to achieve it. Being at a healthy weight reduces stress to the back. So don't give into those big, brown, mellow eyes!

Know your C's, T's and L's!
C's are for the neck (cervical), T's for Thoracic (the chest, where the ribs are), and L's for Lumbar (after the ribs and before the hips).
The vertebrae bones are numbered not the discs in-between (intervertebral) vertebrae. C3-C4 for example means the herniation is between Cervical Vertebra 3 and Cervical vertebra 4.
