Good morning Youth Show Exhibitors, Parents, Trainers & Sponsors!! We want to THANK YOU for another successful and fun All American Youth Horse Show!! You know it takes ALL of you to pull this show off year after year and WE appreciate everyone of you!!
This year, some of you who made the championship classes may not have received your ribbon. For the one of the few times in 54 years our ribbon order definitely had some issues. If you placed in a CHAMPIONSHIP CLASS and did not receive your ribbon please let us know within the next 20 days. We will be making one order for replacement ribbons. We apologize for this happening and know that our ribbon company will do their best to resolve this. Please send an email to [email protected], we will need your NAME, BACK NUMBER and PLACING.
Along with that, we will be shipping any ribbons that were not picked up at the show within the next couple of days. If you are unsure about a class placing, please send us an email, [email protected]

Good Morning!!! We're packing our cars, trucks, trailers and excited for MOVE IN Day on Wednesday, May 10. Please remember you cannot arrive before 6AM (that includes just coming in to bed stalls). Campers can be brought anytime - check with their office trailer to the left as you come in on 17th Ave.
For those who still have reg. papers, coggins, cvi's, etc. to turn in, please just bring paper copies to the show as our electronics are being packed and ready to set up in the Show Office.
On Wednesday:
*No vehicles without a horse trailer will be permitted behind the Gilligan. If you have items in a vehicle without a horse trailer, you can stop and unload them prior to parking. There will be Deputies there to direct you.
*Keep unloading time to a maximum of 30 mins. and DO NOT leave your empty trailer parked behind the Gilligan.
*DO NOT block anyone in. You will be towed.
BASICALLY JUST BE KIND, PATIENT AND COURTEOUS TO OTHERS!!
*The Show Office is open 9-9 on Wed., 7-9 Thurs.-Sat. & 7-at the start of the championship classes on Sun.
The Ohio Expo Center has asked AAYHS to inform you:
*There is absolutely no riding in the grassy areas around Cooper Arena, the Voinovich Bldg. or the Admin. Bldgs. You will be fined. So STAY OFF the grass!
*NO LUNGING in the Coliseum or Cooper Arena.
*Do not throw trash in the manure bins or pits, and all medical waste must be put in the Sharp's containers.
*On Friday, May 11 - there is a graduation ceremony at 10AM in the Celeste. Plan your arrival accordingly. The OHIO EXPO Center let us know this morning they will be re-routing traffic starting at 7AM.
Franklin County Sheriff Deputies will be on duty Wednesday thru Sunday.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Because of the number of entries in the Mini classes 35, 36, 37 and 38. The 2 mini showmanship in Session 1 Cooper Arena on Thursday - classes 26 and 27 are being moved to the first 2 classes in the same arena, same day. We definitely did not anticipate the number of entries we have in those classes this year and are so happy the mini's are turning out!! All other classes in that session will follow in numerical order. MINI people please share with your fellow MINI people!!

Kari grew up outside of Columbus and looked forward to showing at the AAYHS every spring! As a youth she competed in OHJA shows, IEA, 4-H, and the All American Quarter Horse Congress. She attended Miami University and was a member of the IHSA team and competed in several NCEA scrimmage competitions....

Don't panic if you haven't received your emailed confirmations yet...we are swamped and we want to make sure we have it right the first time!
Please check your emails!!! And return any messages we have left!! There are several who had problems with forms that we received. So if you received a message or voicemail from us....RETURN the call!!
PayPal - For those who used PayPal for entries, stalls, sponsors you should have received a transaction detail, if not its coming. Please send checks or money orders for the fees ASAP. Do not pay them thru PayPal! Also after APRIL 15 we will no longer accept any payments with PayPal and we will not be using it at the Show.
Now for the best part! This year at the Youth Show we are offering not one but two RIDE THE PATTERN CLINICS Wednesday, May 10!! Ride the Pattern - Showmanship & Horsemanship/Equitation patterns 7pm in Cooper Arena AND Ride the Pattern - Trail - mini in-hand trail, ranch trail & regular trail 7pm in the Bricker West Paddock. Both clinics will be directed by our judges and chairpersons for those divisions. Plus we have some great giveaways from our Vendors & Sponsors!
All COOLERS have been sponsored!! Anything that comes in now that's marked for a cooler will be switched over to neck ribbons or classes. We still need MANY class sponsors and as always there's plenty of room for ADS!!

Update to PayPal information! After doing A LOT of checking today and with the help of one of our parents, we have found that PayPal no longer accepts Friends & Family as a payment option for Businesses. With that being said, all charges to the AAYHS by our exhibitors, groups, vendors, sponsors must be paid by a check or in cash (at the show). Fees not paid will be charged to the Exhibitor or Group and you will not receive your show packet until they are paid. Fees incurred by sponsors must either be paid by that sponsor (with a check) or will be deducted from the Exhibitors Sponsor Incentive Refund. We are very sorry for this new PayPal restriction, but as a non-profit cannot take on the fees that they charge. Payments to AAYHS will still be received in check or money order form! We ask that if you use PayPal and then must pay the fees, you include a note or at least mention in the memo section so we will know who to credit it to. Forms that include the PayPal information are in the process of being updated. Thanks for understanding.

For those new to our show, the AAYHS offers an Incentive Program to provide a method by which Youth can reduce show costs by selling to businesses, family & friends, advertising space in our show program. Youth who meet the incentive levels can receive a refund of their show costs (entries, stalls).
