Reactivity on Walks: What’s Really Going On? 🐕‍🦺💥

Does your dog bark, lunge, or pull like a wild thing when another dog walks by? Or maybe it’s people, bikes, or that one neighbor who wears hats?

It’s called reactivity, and it’s more common than you think.

Here’s the thing:
Reactivity isn’t your dog being “bad” or “dominant.” It’s usually a sign they’re stressed, overstimulated, or unsure how to handle a situation.

Maybe they’re scared.
Maybe they’re frustrated.
Maybe they just have no idea how to process the excitement.

Whatever the reason, your dog isn’t trying to give you a hard time—they’re having a hard time.

Some helpful things to know:
