In full transparency to our interested puppy buyers, I'm sad to share that Elise is not pregnant.

In all likelihood I will retire her from the breeding program. It is not an easy decision to make, but I feel we did everything we could this time around and I want to prioritize her long-term health above all.

And for those who are interested in a Sunny puppy, she decided to throw me for a loop and came into heat quite early (before EO). Therefore, the breeding plans for her had to be postponed.

If this changes your interest, I completely understand, please let me know. I'm sorry that things didn't work out differently.

Breeding doesn't always seem to go as planned. We are at the whim of Mother Nature despite our planning and best intentions. Thank you for understanding

I don’t even know where to start about this past week, but it has absolutely been a dream come true!

Sunny surpassed every expectation that Allison and I had for her. She was brilliant. For a young dog who’s never competed at an event of this caliber (much less been on an airplane!), I couldn’t have asked for more. She was a joy to travel with, and I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again!

What an honor for my girl to represent among the best in the world, and alongside an incredibly talented team from the US 🇺🇸.

I know Allison already shared all of her videos, but I’m adding a few of my favorites here again because I can’t stop smiling 🥰

Allison and I have so many people to thank for helping us get here…

For me, firstly my amazing husband, and my family and friends for supporting this crazy habit.

To Allison who has become not only a training partner but a friend through all this. For taking on a young dog and believing we could meet this goal. And working hard to make it a reality.

Our coaches and mentors — specifically Jennifer Crank who took a mediocre trainer and dog handler (me!) and believed in her. And even more so, she believed in Sunny from day 1. To Linda Mecklenburg who taught us what to prioritize and how to work through our aframe issues. To those we’ve had the opportunity to meet up with and train with along the way (Abbey Beasley, Sophie Fitzhugh) and those who helped build ISC locally (Daisy Peel), offered seminars, or even lent support at shows.

To the vets, techs, body work team, and fitness trainers who have kept Sunny at her very best (Betty Vaughn, Maria McManus Duthie, Melinda Bekos, Paws in Balance, LLC, Teresa Calvert, Stefanie Theis, Sally Harp). And VCA and Kelly for paperwork assistance!

To the coaches of Team USA for choosing us to represent our country (Annette Alfonso and Sheyla Gutierrez) and the American Kennel Club and Skylos for the support!

And here we are. On the eve of an incredible journey that you have taken me on!

Somehow she's ALREADY 3, and ONLY 3. I can't wait for her to represent Team USA with Allison...I couldn't be prouder. What a girl. No matter the results, I couldn't love her any more. 🥰

This weekend at 14 months old Mac made his CPE debut! He and Sara went 18/18 🤩 earning his Speedway Elite and Speedway Pro titles. So proud of them and can’t wait to see where they go from here!

So so proud of these girls!

Allison and Sunny had EO team practice this weekend and were amazing!

Yesterday Sun was top medium dog in two of the four runs 🤩

Really excited for them to run in England in 2 months but mostly excited for them to be part of AMAZING Team USA! I can’t wait to cheer them all on!

Thank you to coaches Annette and Sheyla, the team at Premier, and shout out to Team Medium for being incredibly supportive. I wish I could have been there! 🇺🇸

Happy happy FIRST birthday to my second keeper puppy, Maddie! 🩵💙

She was absolutely put on this earth to make me a better trainer but I just love her...she's the easiest dog in the house and has such a sweet relationship with my husband and her BFF Sunny.

Was disappointed to pull her from ASSA but she definitely has some maturing to do and after this BEAUTIFUL shoot she blew her lovely puppy coat. Huge thanks to Grace for the amazing photos and Stephanie for the grooming. Maddie is totally unedited in these photos (other than removing a leash).

I cannot wait to see what her future holds, I think she is holding her early promise!

An absolute dream!

The American Shetland Sheepdog Association National is in the books and I am absolutely thrilled!

Phelix and I made it through the second cut in Best of Breed b*tches in a super deep group of 70 total! Just one cut away from an Award of Merit in the final line up. A huge thank you to esteemed breeder judge Ellen Worthington for a National to remember!

Most proud of this girl for being incredible across the board. We were amongst the last true owner handlers standing, and maybe the only team with titles at both ends. (And how many times has a dog made two cuts AND won high in trial at the very same national?!)

What a week! 🥰😭😍 Thank you to everyone who shared their support, advice and friendship over the week. It’s truly the very best part.
