A trained, engaged dog is a happy dog! Nola has been having some wicked anxiety (peep the puppy pad I MacGyver'd in the background) so I thought we'd take some time at the end of her session to work on some behaviors and get some energy out!

Note that I'm not focusing too hard on any specific behaviors, this is playtime! Instead I want her listening to me and understanding what I want, generally speaking.

At the beginning of our visits yesterday, Nola was a bit of a menace to her poor apartment neighbors. She's a hound dog so her barks carry really far. Now, she still misses her family, but I left her mostly quiet and laying down nicely.

Perfection isn't the goal.
Comfort is.
