You may have already seen her face around the clinic but we wanted to do a special welcome to Dr. Mary Marczak! 🐾

Dr. Mary has been with CVVS since June of this year. She was born and raised in the Houston area and is a fellow Aggie alongside Dr. Ridlen. Dr. Mary see's animals of all kind and has a passion for acupuncture and herbal medicine with plans to bring that knowledge to CVVS.

In her free time Dr. Mary enjoys riding motorcyles with her husband and showing horses which she has been doing since 2015!!

Dr. Mary believes in providing the highest quality of care for her patients and their familes and we are so excited that she has joined the CVVS family!🩺

With the Texas heat at its peak it's important to know what to do if you suspect your pet is experiencing a heat stroke!
🐾NEVER put cold water on your pet in this case as it can cause shock or worse, place your dog in room temperature water.
🐾If able you can take your dogs temperature rectally (a normal temperature is between 101-102 degrees Fahrenheit).
🐾Head to your vet immediately if you think your pet is having a heat stroke!🥵🌞

Yesterday we had some visitors from the Boys and Girls Club. These little ladies had the opportunity of touring our new facility!!!🤩 I think it's safe to say the girls really enjoyed themselves and listening to all of the cool and neat information from Dr. Ridlen. Foxy wanted to let all of you know that it's the last week of dental month!! Foxy also wanted to let you know that when dental disease is left untreated, it can progress to cause chronic pain and inflammation. We recommend brushing your animals teeth daily and if brushing is difficult there are other dental products designed to help maintain their oral hygiene.
