In the aftermath of the recent hurricane, standing water and flooding can increase the risk of leptospirosis (lepto) in our pets. This bacterial infection can spread through contaminated water, and it’s crucial to be on the lookout for symptoms.

⚠️ Symptoms to watch for:

• Fever
• Lethargy
• Vomiting
• Loss of appetite
• Increased thirst
• Yellowing of the eyes or gums (jaundice)

If your pet is showing any of these signs, please contact us immediately! Early detection and treatment are key.

Our phones will be back up and running at 8:00 am. Our office will be open our normal business hours 7:30 - 5:30. Please be patient with us as we're not sure what technical/staffing difficulties we may face tomorrow.
