We end 2024 with some beautiful things.
Senior cat Freya arrived at the shelter this afternoon and she needed help! Luckily our friends at SOS of Ohio Spay & Neuter Clinic - Shelter Outreach Services were willing to lend a hand. A portion of her degloved tail has been removed, a nasty abdominal wound has been tended to and she’s now been SPAYED.

Sunshine arrived in April of 2022. She had been abandoned in a senior apartment complex and was trying her darnedest to find a new home by zipping into open doors. But no one would take her in. Life at CWA was safe and Sunshine had her own routine with areas for contentment. But we just knew she’d blossom in a forever home. As of late, Sunshine had been introducing herself to more visitors. She may have sensed her forever family was coming and that they did! Sunshine was adopted on 12/30 and she’s feeling the love.

We thank you for all of your support that makes these victories possible.

Hey friends! Rocco here with a public service announcement for Friday. We have ~ 50 holiday cat nip toys and 25 CWA calendars.
Our shelter will be closed on December 24.

Can you make this senior cat’s life merry and bright?
After living in a quiet home for ten years, this sweet kitty had to be returned to our shelter when her owner’s health declined.
Holly is trying to acclimate to shelter life but she’s much better suited for a cozy home and plenty of cuddles.

Dr. Dudley just called and the surgery went very well this afternoon! A large polyp was removed, there were no complications and our boy is resting comfortably.
Again, we thank you for your kindness and generosity. This will be a beautiful new start for a deserving boy.
Now we need to work together once he is fully recovered and find a forever home😃.
