Can y'all do me a really big favor?

If you know me, you know Chica. We've been together for 18 amazing years. She was my ride or die, my confidant, my rock, my everything. We went everywhere together and I told her everything. Life without her is unfathomable, really. My first born daughter who taught me so much more than I could ever teach her.

Today I laid my baby girl to rest. She had a great life, and deeply deserves to rest. She earned her wings.

After a kitten safe flea bath, we noticed Baby Groot's mouth was not quite right. She had a degloved mandible! We assume by the way we found her she was thrown out a moving vehicle from the main road and in the process her mouth was damaged. Poor baby 😭😓 -M&J

As I write this, fireworks are going off in my neighborhood. There’s a good chance you’ve experienced this over the last few weeks too. With community fireworks shows being cancelled, we can expect an increase in neighbors who decide to throw their own show. While it’s much harder to predict these, you can and should prepare now. There’s a 30% increase in lost dogs from July 4th-6th. Be smart, think ahead, and make sure it’s not yours!
