ATTENTION BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY RESIDENTS!!! We are happy to announce that we have just opened up a transport in Columbus, IN! We are hoping to make this a monthly transport beginning in January 2026! Currently there are two dates scheduled for the month of January on Tuesday the 6th and 20th. We need your help to make this transport a PAWSitive experience and successful transport!
To schedule your cat or dog for a surgery, please call our transport line at 317-675-0072 and leave a message. You can also visit our website at www.lowcostspayneuterindiana.org to complete an online submission form to start the appointment process. We do not transport for vaccines only; however, vaccinations can be done at the same time as a spay, neuter, or dental. We do not require an appointment for feral cats; therefore, you can bring up to 2 feral cats per day per person. Thank you for all the community support. We look forward to caring for your pets!

Hey there! I’m Star!

I might look familiar. I’m back due to no fault of my own, the grumpy old dog just didn’t care for me and my puppy energy. I love to snuggle, so hopefully you’ll let me sleep in bed with you. My foster family does and it’s my favorite. I love to chew up all my toys. My foster family only gives me deer antlers now. I guess I was making too much of a mess. I love kids and babies, I have always been around them so I don’t know any different. My favorite thing is to run outside with my foster siblings. Other than that I just want a cozy couch to snuggle up on. I am potty trained through the night and my foster family has me trained to ring a bell and it was worked great! I don’t like my crate too much, but when I was a pup I had a broken leg and tail so I had to spend a lot of time in my crate. I just rather be by you! I’m really sweet and I can’t wait for my forever family to adopt me 💕
