Go Geese Go was launched in the summer of 2000. We achieve near goose-free properties exclusively through the use of highly trained border collies. A typical service agreement includes two visits per day, March through October. Our goose dogs have a minimum of two years herding training and are purchased from one of the top trainers in the United States. The dogs are housed in a new modern kennel
that is air conditioned and heated. Training is a continuous process that helps them do their job and keep them safe while working. We now service 140 properties in and around the Columbus area. Our clients include corporate headquarters, property management firms, hospitals and medical facilities, landscape companies, office buildings and parks, shopping centers, industrial parks, homeowners associations, condominium associations, sports facilities and city parks. When we arrive on your property, the geese will quickly move to your pond for perceived safety. The dogs will then go into the water and continue the herding process until the geese fly off. The geese are educated that there are no safe areas on your property. The geese will continually test to see if the dogs are still around. Unfortunately your property will always be attractive to geese if you have a pond so the service has to be maintained as long as you wish to keep them off your property.
