Today is officially the first day of summer!🌞
Even though this past week sure felt like summer!!
Keep hydrated and cool!!
Tips to help our furry friends during these hot summer days :
☀ Do not leave pets in the car
☀ Provide cool water, do not use ice or very cold water. Rapid drop in temperature could cause shock
☀ Make sure the ground is not too hot. If you cannot walk barefoot then it is too hot
☀Avoid strenuous exercise during extremely hot days and keep the sessions short

Summer storms and firework celebrations may be fun for us humans, but for our pets they're often a cause of extreme anxiety and distress. But don't fret! Our hospital offers many temporary treatment options for these seasonal stressors.

If your pet takes medications for this time of the year, please plan ahead and call us for any needed refills! If anxiety/stress is a new concern for your furry friend(s), please call us at 614-263-6730 to set up an appointment so our doctors can examine and provide you with possible treatment options!
We will be closing early at 2PM on Wednesday, July 3rd. Then we will be closed all day on Thursday, July 4th and Friday, July 5th.

Clintonville Animal Hospital has been a part of the Clintonville community for many years and has always stood for great medical care for your pet. In April 2018, Dr. Devon Horne purchased Clintonville Animal Hospital with the desire to continue its long tradition of excellent patient care while expanding the services and availability of the hospital to fulfill the needs of the growing Columbus community.

Our mission is to make the world a better place for pets and their humans by committing to excellent veterinary care in our warm and friendly environment. We strive to exceed our clients' expectations by treating owners and their pets with respect, honesty, and compassion, and educating our clients about the quality care for our patients. By working together as a team and treating all animals as if they were our own, our staff aims to build lasting relationships with our clients and their pets throughout all stages of their life.
