🚨 PSA: If you’re cold, they’re cold. 🚨

As temperatures drop, outdoor animals are especially vulnerable. Dogs, cats, and other pets feel the cold just like we do — and for some, it can be dangerous or even deadly.

Please bring pets indoors during cold weather, or provide proper shelter with warmth, dry bedding, and protection from wind and rain. Check on outdoor animals in your neighborhood and make sure they have what they need to stay safe.

A little kindness can save a life. Let’s look out for them this winter. 💙🐾

Creme Brulee got away from her foster family at approximately 6:00 PM tonight and was last sighted around 6:10 PM in the back of Cooper Creek.

🐾 Details:
• Very friendly with both people and dogs
• NOT wearing a collar
• Microchipped to Paws
• Escaped from her foster home

Selim is a 4-year-old mixed breed weighing 44 lbs, and he’s truly one of the gentlest souls you’ll ever meet. This handsome guy is neutered, up to date on vaccines and prevention, dewormed, and ready to head home.

Selim is a calm, low-energy gentleman who appreciates the quiet side of life. He thrives in peaceful environments, loves soft voices, and is happiest simply sitting near someone he trusts. While he may be a little shy at first, Selim warms up quickly and becomes a devoted people-lover once he knows he’s safe.

He’s food-motivated, enjoys treat-based engagement, and responds beautifully to positive reinforcement — making him easy to bond with and a joy to work with. Selim is fully house-broken, has wonderful manners, and is very low-maintenance.

He would do best in a cat-free home where he can relax, feel secure, and enjoy the simple comforts of being loved. If you’re searching for a quiet companion with a big heart, Selim might just be your perfect match. 💕

Meet Panzer 🐾

Let’s be honest, Panzer is strikingly handsome. Big, beefy, and built like a tank, he has a head-turning presence that makes people stop and stare. If you are looking for a solid, confident companion who looks like he could guard the castle but just wants a steady human by his side, Panzer is it.

Shelter life has not been easy for him. The constant noise, tight spaces, and close proximity to other dogs can be overwhelming, but when Panzer is given space to decompress, you get to see who he really is and it is pretty special.

Outside of the chaos, Panzer is engaging, attentive, and deeply focused on his people. He is easy to leash, walks nicely when triggers are at a distance, and visibly relaxes once he is out of the hectic shelter environment. With clear direction and a calm handler, Panzer shows just how much he wants to work with his person and do well.

Panzer does struggle with reactivity toward other dogs, especially in close or crowded environments, so he is looking for a dog-savvy home that understands reactivity and is comfortable with management, structure, and continued training. He will do best as the only pet in the home and he is all you need. Panzer thrives when he can focus on his people and build a strong, secure bond.

Panzer is not asking for perfection, just patience, consistency, and someone willing to see past the shelter stress. In return, you will get a loyal, handsome, beefy best friend who is ready to give his whole heart.

🐾 Walk-Ins For Community Cats Returning Soon! 🐾

We’re happy to share that community cat walk-ins will be returning soon, beginning January 5.

As we prepare to reopen walk-ins, we want our community to know that daily capacity will be limited, and surgeries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis as space allows. Walk-ins are always subject to availability.

We strongly encourage booking appointments whenever possible, as appointments remain the most reliable way to ensure surgery.

As always, cats must be in individual humane live traps for surgery.

More details will be shared closer to January 5 — thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support as we work to serve our community and help more cats. 💙🐾

Meet Calvin 🐾—Your Once-in-a-Lifetime Goofball

Calvin has been waiting almost a full year—since February—for someone to finally see what we see every single day. In all that time, he’s never been adopted, never gone to foster, never been given the chance he so deeply deserves. And honestly? It’s a mystery.

Calvin is the kind of dog who doesn’t need fancy tricks or a trophy shelf to win your heart. What he does have is a joyful, wonderfully awkward spirit and a whole lot of love just waiting to land somewhere safe.

He absolutely loves people and wants to say hello to everyone he meets, greeting strangers with happy curiosity. Calvin is also dog-curious and friendly; when he saw another dog, he showed excited interest with a wagging tail and no barking or growling. He rides great in the car and hops right in without hesitation, though he may try to turn it into a full “head and paws out the window” experience. He takes treats very gently and, like many dogs, may attempt to chase squirrels if given the opportunity (because… squirrels).

A little shy with head pats at first, but melts into pure happiness when you scratch his butt—cue the legendary goofy tippy taps

Calvin is equal parts sweet, silly, and soulful. He’s the kind of dog who doesn’t just walk beside you—he connects with you. The kind who will make you laugh on your worst days and remind you that joy can be simple.
