Recently Drs. Berning and Hanthorn, along with veterinary technician Savanna, traveled to Zoo Miami in Miami, Florida for "Dental Week" where they treated a variety of dental conditions across a multitude of species! Together with national sales director David from iM3 - The Veterinary Dental Company, they performed dental work on an orangutan, two chimps, a lion, an otter, a sloth bear, and two jaguars! Dr. Berning has been working with Zoo Miami as an extension of their animal health team since 2018 and has helped many of their animals live better lives with healthy mouths. We are proud of the work we do and are honored to be able to care for these incredible animals! We are grateful for the assistance that iM3 gives to our team and the animals at Zoo Miami by providing dental imaging and expert advice. A huge thank you to both Zoo Miami and iM3 for the opportunities provided to the team at Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery of Ohio!

Our team just returned from the Veterinary Dental Forum, and we’re buzzing with new knowledge! Dr. Berning had the privilege of being on an expert panel discussing endodontics in exotic animals. Drs. Berning and Hanthorn participated in hands-on labs to enhance the advanced procedures we offer our patients.

We were also thrilled to have two of our amazing registered veterinary technicians join us, ensuring the labs ran smoothly alongside the iM3 The Veterinary Dental Company team.
