No exceptions. It is required by law. We cannot use the tag, and if you forget the paperwork and your vet is not open, we cannot take your dog. They cannot even stay in a kennel while you go get it, you will have to take them with you.
2. Unless we can demat them safely and WITHOUT HURTING YOUR DOG, a matted dog will be shaved and an additional fee assessed.
3. Ear cleaning is included. Ear plucki
ng is by request only, at no additional charge. If you don't ask at check in, it won't be done.
4. A**l gland expressing is no additional charge, but is external only. We cannot guarantee that they will be completely emptied, and we will not force it on any dog we cannot get done without risking injury.
5. Pets with fleas will be given a flea bath, sent home with a capstar, and charged $5 extra. You also have the option to purchase Capstars for $5, a monthly topical treatment for $10, or a Seresto collar that lasts 8 months, for $60.
6. We have 4 experienced groomers who all take pride in their work. If your preferred groomer is not available on the day you want, or if you just want to try a different person, we would be happy to set that up for you.
7. We can set your appointment up as far ahead as you want, and we encourage you to make an appointment in advance. We are not always available to fit hair cuts in on the same day you call.
8. We take all dogs in for their appointments in the morning. We will give you an estimated out time, then we will call you just as quickly as we can get them done.
9. There is a small fee assessed for using credit and debit cards. To avoid this fee, you may pay cash or check.
10. Pictures in our scene are complimentary. They may be downloaded or shared from our page. If your pet will not hold still, damages the scene, pees on everything, or risks injury to themselves or us, they will not get a picture. We do our best to get a decent picture for you, but not all dogs cooperate.
11. We close at 4:00pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, and at 6:00pm on Thursdays and Fridays. We will be enforcing the $10 late fee if you do not show up by close to pick up. If you are more than an hour late, we will take them home and assess a $25 boarding fee in addition to the price of your groom.
12. We schedule by appointment and usually have people on a waiting list if someone cancels. Please be on time or call us if you will not be able to come in at that time, in case we fill your spot and need to reschedule you.
13. If you write a check and it is returned, you are responsible for the amount of the check plus the fees our bank assesses.
14. Mask wearing is optional for both employees and guests. If you are elderly, disabled, or at a high risk for COVID, please ask, and we will be happy to come out to your car.
