will once again be hosting the cruel and unnecessary Cinch World’s Toughest Rodeo. Join us on Saturday, February 15th as we stand in opposition to this event.

Animals exploited in the rodeo industry routinely sustain painful lifelong injuries. Rodeos claim that the animals are well cared for. This is a lie.

If you believe in kindness and compassion to all, join us as we tell Nationwide Area to stop hosting these violent events.

Join Columbus Animal Advocates for a Winter Social on Saturday, January 25, from 5 to 8pm. Drop in when it works for you.

All animal lovers are welcome to have a fun gathering and enjoy time together after the holiday rush. Some light snacks and drinks will be provided. Portia's vegan food will be available to purchase. There will be board games and socializing.

Thank you to everyone who made this campaign a success! This win is anticipated to impact 1.3 MILLION hens by keeping them out of cruel battery cages. This is only the first step to a more humane world, but if we can pressure large corporations like CKE to make a change for the better, what can't we do?! ✊🏼

On Thursday, activist from CAA and from around central Ohio came together to demand Aldi USA to adopt a more progressive animal welfare standard.

In Germany, Aldi is known for their progressive animal welfare standards and do not use battery cages for hens or gestation crates for pigs. By using cages in its US operations, Aldi not only lags behind many of its US competitors, but it also contradicts its own brand standards and animal welfare principles.

On Sunday, activist from CAA and from around central Ohio came together to demand transparency on Hardee’s 2025 cage free policy progress.

In 2016, Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s—both owned by CKE Restaurants—promised to go 100% cage-free by 2025. While Carl’s Jr. is now reporting progress for its US locations, Hardee’s refuses to do the same.

Thank you Chalk the Block and Easton Town Center for putting on a great chalking event this past Saturday. It is so important to give local artists the chance to freely express themselves, so thank you for doing this for our community. This was a fantastic opportunity to speak up for the animals, who routinely have their voices suppressed and erased. Looking forward to next year!
