You cannot properly GUIDE, CONTROL, or, CORRECT your dog on a harness. It just doesn't apply to the way our dogs LEARN!
"Ohhh but I don't want to hurt his neck." Ma'm, sir, he's a dog! Their threshold of pain isn't fathomable to you. Think, "wolverine" from the xmen. Lol
But seriously, a collar placed in the CORRECT place under the dogs chin, above the neck will NOT HARM THE DOG. you mentally harm the dog by treating him like a human child waaaaaaaaay more than you will correcting him and teaching him leash respect on a collar and leash/ or just a lead. If you don't know, get help!

Remember, you will always confuse your dog by saying too much. Start with ONE, I repeat "1" wordo only, for each guiding word. Keep in mind dogs don't communicate with words, you do, which means they can learn without words as well.

How do you expect them to have a calm/cool demeanor, but you are out of control. Your dogs hearing is just fine! If you need to yell, you haven't earned the dogs respect as a leader, so let's put more work there instead of anxious dictatorship!
