Save the date! Foothills Field Hunter Trials - September 28, 2024 at the updated Green Creek Hounds kennel outside course. The trophy has returned! Champion Field Hunter will be inscribed on the perpetual trophy; Carolina Performance Field Hunter class will count! Highest points from the day wins! Prizes, purse, and much more to come. Foothills Field Hunter Trials competitors and enthusiasts: for several months we have been searching for a date that suited everyone for our fall event, but now the latest update: our best supporter who always brings the most competitors is out of action with a serious knee injury. Given that she will have several months of rehab, out of respect for our great supporter we have decided to postpone until Fall 2024. Please watch for updates/schedules in June 2024. We hope to see everyone back in Tryon for the Carolina Field Hunter Performance Series.

Field Hunter Trials competitors! Updates: Saturday schooling rounds only in the arena at FENCE. Familiarization of XC courses until 2 pm Saturday.
Saturday afternoon - THE RIG GIG at FENCE - trailer parking contest with dinner/music and catering by The Rural Seed.

Sunday 8:30 AM start on the cross country course at FENCE.

FOOTHILLS FIELD HUNTER TRIALS returns to FENCE Sept. 17-18, 2022. Entries to open mid-August. New this season - warm up classes on Saturday in the hunter arena at FENCE, schooling the XC field and fences in the afternoon, and the Field Hunter Trials on the XC field on Sunday. New Host: Clearview Farm
Co-organizers: Clearview Farm and CRF Equestrian-NC.

The Carolina Hunter Performance Series will again be offered, this time as a qualifier for the MFHA Field Hunter Championship to be held at Moore County Hounds NC on March 18, 2023.

Dear Foothills Field Hunter Trials competitors - along with the Carolina Performance Series hosts we have decided to make this an annual event, so we will see you for an even bigger show next September 2022. We will be the Opening event for the Carolina Performance Series and will again be a great prep for all those RRP's participating in the field hunter division. We already have super sponsors and will post more often about related events. We plan to have cross country schooling at FENCE as well as possible cross country riding clinics during the off season.
