UPDATE: The kennel position has been filled. Thanks to everyone who applied and shared the post. It was a tough decision!!

🐾 Our kennel tech position is open! Come join our wonderful team at our north location! 🐾

Position: Kennel Technician
Location: 2311 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr.

Mon/Tuesday/Wed/Fri: 8am-3pm
Thursday: 8am-Noon
Sat/Sun: Hours vary, but generally will only be two Saturdays per month for an hour or so.

📍Pay depends on experience. 💲
📍Experience preferred but not required. We'll train! 👨‍🏫
📍Must love dogs and cats. ❤️
📍Must be able to lift 40 #+. 💪
📍Must have a great team attitude. 😁
📍Duties include (but not limited to) cleaning, laundry, bathing pets, administering medication, restraint of pets for simple procedures.

Can begin work immediately upon hiring.
Applications accepted in person.
Be prepared for an interview when application is submitted.

❄️ Saturday Morning: We are delaying opening until 9am. ❄️

UPDATE #2: Only Dr. Alicia (no staff) will be at the MLK location. MLK will close at 3, and Idlewild will close at 5.

UPDATE: We're going to try to be open from 1-5:00 today at both locations.

Our tentative plan is to delay opening at both locations until 10am on Friday, January 10. If we deem it necessary to delay further, the update will be posted here. Stay safe and warm!

** We're good now! **

Y'allllll!! 😭😭😭 We lost our beloved oak tree in the storms last night. ...along with power and Internet. 😬😬 We cleared out some of the tree to make a little more room for parking, but we're not sure when we'll get utilities back or the rest of the tree removed. Without Internet, our phones and credit cards won't work. We'll be open Monday with normal hours, but please be patient and understanding. We're mourning over here. 😂😭🌳

Edit: The tree miraculously didn't hit the building at all! No harm to people, pets, or structure! Thank God! 🙌🏼❤️

Good Monday afternoon to everyone! We're sorry for the inconvenience, but the flu has hit the Anderson household. The Hwy 69/Idlewild location should be good this week, but the MLK location will be without a doctor for at least the next day or two, maybe the week. I'll post when we're back up and running like normal. The office is open, but no doctor visits are available, and we're making calls to reschedule surgeries. Please be patient and know that we're getting back on our feet as soon as possible. Thank y'all!

We wanted to update everyone on our Thanksgiving week hours. Call for specific information on boarding details.

East Location (Idlewild Rd):
Monday and Tuesday - Normal hours
Wednesday - Close at 5:30pm
Thursday - Closed
Friday - 8am-12pm
Saturday - 8am-12pm

North Location (MLK):
Monday and Tuesday - Normal hours
Wednesday - Close at 5:30pm
Thursday - Sunday - Closed

Our north location on Martin Luther King will NOT have a doctor available on Monday, September 30. The clinic will still be open for baths, nail trims, and product purchases. If your pet needs medical attention that day, please visit or call our 204 Idlewild location at 662-328-8395. Thank you!

We are so thankful that you voted for us, but even more thankful that you support our local family business and all the blood, sweat, and tears (literally 😂) that we pour into it.
