With the bitter cold temps upon us, be mindful of your pets. Even little kitties that may be strays, there is nothing wrong with giving them some shelter out of the elements. All pets need to be out of the wind, and on a soft, warm and dry surface. For cats, a medium size box with a towel or blanket inside, and another draped over it works well. Bring your dogs inside, or into the garage with a heavy blanket to sleep on. DON'T FORGET TO GIVE THEM FRESH WATER DAILY. Better yet, a heated blanket or throw works wonders for them. If you need assistance, call Kayla, our animal control officer.
