Please! Do not bring these into your home if you have cats! Lots of people think that pointsettas are toxic - these are so. much. worse. All parts of the plant, including the pollen, can lead to irreversible kidney failure if integested by a cat. We shared before, but if this saves even one kitty, it was worth sharing again.

A heartfelt thank you to Paz's new family and to everyone who has dedicated their time caring for and helping us prepare Paz for this very moment.

The work that our shelter staff and volunteers provide every single day for our dogs, is meaningful, invaluable and admirable. And it comes from the heart.

Tomorrow, we will begin our day working to find our *newest longest term dog, their very own place to call home. But tonight our hearts are full, our smiles are big and we celebrate!

Columbus, Ohio - vaccines and license renewals this Sunday!

SAVE THE DATE ❗️ This Sunday, COPS-Central Ohio Pit Savers will be hosting a low cost vaccine clinic, here at the Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

This is a first come, first serve clinic and most vaccines are just $10 each. Please allow yourself enough time and be prepared to wait as these clinics are often very busy. For more information visit https://fb.me/e/3jR7d22V1

The Franklin County Auditor's Office, Michael Stinziano, will also be on-site selling and renewing 2023 dog licenses.
