Enjoying the new grass. Our last ewe had a single ram lamb & we purchased a new ewe with twin ewe lambs, so we now have 5 ewes & 7 lambs.

Only 5 new chicks this year. The rest were casualties of a heat lamp failure.

Had our first calf today, a large healthy bull named Adam. Fun to watch the first time mom dote over him.

Our second ewe lamb was born on Tuesday. Her mama was and still is enormous - can't believe that she only had one!

The girls had a sad morning - one of the lambs died. The other one is doing ok & we hope it keeps growing stronger. Not all of farming is fun but good life lessons.

Ashley's first lambs came yesterday! They were small twins from a first time ewe - the girls have gone out every couple hours all night and day to help them eat.
