Mission Statement

The mission of the county’s animal control shelter is to provide a safe, humane environment, and quality care for every animal brought into our shelter. We are here to provide a balance of health, safety, education, and opportunity not just for the animals but for the people as well. We are working with other shelter facilities and rescue groups to help raise the number of animals adopted from our shelter.

Luffy has a great personality and is very active for an 8 year old dog. He really enjoys playing with toys specifically with rope toys. He would do great in a home that likes to be outside and that stays active. He is well mannered and has a great disposition. He also knows basic commands and comes when he is called. He is a very gentle boy and would do great with children. If you are looking for a substantial dog to adopt Luffy is your guy. If you would like to meet Luffy, come on out and get to know him.
