Congratulations to affiliates CANTER Kentucky () and CANTER Michigan () on continuing their accreditation with the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (TAA)!

The TAA is the only accrediting body in Thoroughbred aftercare and reviews all aspects of aftercare nonprofits during the accreditation process. We feel lucky to have several TAA-accredited affiliates, including KY, MI, and CA.

It's time to start thinking about the 2025 Thoroughbred Makeover!

🐴 Competition: October 8-11, 2025 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington
🐴 Applications open for drafting: December 16, 2024 - January 5, 2025
🐴 Applications open for submitting: January 6 - 24, 2025
🐴 Training opens for 2025 Makeover: December 1, 2024
🐴 The 2025 rulebook is in final revisions right now and will be available online no later than December 16.

Three Karyots “Carrot” has been living the relaxing life this winter. If you own a Thoroughbred you know just how goofy they can be😂 Take Carrot for example (at least she isn’t wasting any of her feed😅)

This week needed a positive update and we just so happened to get that from Tidal Rocket “Juno” and her Mom Alyssa! “We are doing great! Seriously love this horse! Really nothing exciting to share as she’s just been getting pampered and being a field puppy currently!” Alyssa has many plans for this beautiful mare this spring so stay tuned for some updates🚀
