Meet Duncan and playing is his game...he loves all things cat toy. A feather on a string and he is an acrobat as he leaps for it, a ball to chase, a stuffed mouse to fling around and he will entertain you as he plays wth it. He has an adorable habit of stopping his grooming to look at you with his little tongue between his teeth. He is an adorable 4-5 months old. Are you looking for a LAP KITTY? Our spayed girl Chigger would rather be curled on a lap being petted than just about anything. Chigger has been in foster care for a few days while work was done in the shelter. She was a delightful guest, litterbox trained and ready to jump on any lap for some relaxing purring. So, if reading a book or watching TV with a sweet cat on your lap is your thing....come meet Chigger. She would be fine as an only cat but she tolerates other cats as long as she gets lap time. How about a medium sized girl to cuddle up with during this cold spell? Boo, Sylvia and Blackie are all under 40 pounds with sweet, friendly personalities. Boo was found as a stray and her owner was never found. Sylvia was dumped and had a litter of puppies, she was rescued from the streets with only 3 babies and though she cared lovingly for them only one survived. Blackie was one of 11 dogs taken from a hoarding situation. But, despite their struggles they are ready to love and be loved. Call us at 903-886-1160 to learn more.

Remi is looking for a home or a rescue that will give her some major TLC. This little sweetheart is very thin with skin issues and both might be allergy related. Sweet older lady, Boo, is hoping to be adopted. Boo was found abandoned or lost but no one ever came looking for her. She is calm and easy going, always fine with all the other dogs. Our sweet, shy Toddette has been so over looked and is our longest cat/kitten resident. She really, really needs a quiet home with patient people who will help her come out of her shell. She is fine with other cats and just watches them. Toddette has never learned to play with toys and would love some help with that. She allows herself to be petted and picked up and she just melts into you. Even a foster home would be great to help her learn to be a happy cat and help us learn more about her. Introducing River, our little bundle of energy! River was so happy for playtime with the other dogs today. She was surrendered when her family had to move to a place that doesn't allow pets.
