Give the Gift of Literacy to Kids in Kent County This Year
Did you know there are nearly 4,000 children in Kent County, Michigan at risk for not passing third grade because of the Michigan Read by Grade Three Law? With your help, we can rewrite this story.
So far, more than 2,600 children in kindergarten through third grade are receiving comprehensive literacy resources through KDL. Itβs a great start but we can do even more!
Through programs like #MissionRead, our countywide reading initiative, and the Kent District Library Bookmobile, kids are getting excited about reading again. With your year-end gift, we can put more books in the hands of kids.
Would you please join us in giving the gift of literacy? Together, we can give children a great start in life!
