Tomorrow is baking day.
I made a full batch of the Triple Chocolate Chip Sourdough Cookies. Plan to make them the full size this time.

Winter garden planted finally. Thanks so much to our friend Rochelle Hansen for coming over to help us get things started here.
We have:

6 Radish, Champion
3 Brussels Sprouts, Long Island
6 Broccoli, Calabrese
12 Spinach, America
12 Lettuce Romaine Classic
12 Celery Golden
12 Carrots Chantenay

Can’t wait to see all the green come up.

Well we did plan to finish fencing the new area by moving existing fence and adding field fence to it as another pasture for the goats today. Then we found the damage from cows breaking in. We spent most of yesterday keeping them out of the new area we fenced. We worked til around 9 PM last night finishing securing that side.

When looking for Bella last night we saw a bunch of cows came through the fence on the other side of our property. That fence was smashed. Those mama cows really wanted their babies back.

Most of the day was spent on fixing that fence. We have replacing that whole line of fence as a future project. Hopefully today’s repairs last til then.

New goal for the day is getting posts up for new fence so we know we can accomplish the entire line of new fence for the goats in one day.

But hey the cows are fenced out of the new pasture. The other side of our property has had the fence reinforced towards the road side and the downed fence is back up.

Ranch life is never goes according to plan. 😂😂🐐❤️🐄

Our new girls have laid their first eggs. We moved them to the new chicken coop we built for them. Marlena is calling it the chicken palace. Even though it’s not that exciting. We got a whole one egg from our regular girls. They are on strike I guess. There is a side by side view of the one year old girls egg next to the new chicken eggs. Love completing projects to make our lifes and the animals lives easier.

I promise I will get back to sharing and updating soon. I’m currently in a ton of pain. My failed root canal from last year is now causing a migraine. Dave and I are on our way to get meds finally picked up to get it controlled. I have not done much the past few days.

Todays project. We turned the greenhouse yard into the chicken coop. The greenhouse can now be used as a greenhouse again. We still have some work to finish up. One of them being, hooking it up to our rain collection system. Double the collection. Yes please!! Hope to finish up tomorrow.
