This girl caught my eye from day one!
Then we spent a week in the trenches together battling aspiration pneumonia. That whole week I thought we were going to lose her I literally begged her to fight her best fight.. and she did! I couldn’t stand the thought of losing her then and I can’t imagine letting her go now.

You not only gained a spot in my heart but a place in our family.

Time is flying by! Our babies are 6 weeks old today.

They got their third round of dewormer and are off to their vet appointment tomorrow.

Currently all 4 are still available and looking for their forever families.

Our babies started on mush and it’s safe to say they love it!

Hello Everyone!

We haven’t been posting much lately and just wanted to catch everyone up on what’s going on here at Wicked River.

Meet Ro - my instant pick of the litter. I fell in love with her at first sight! Unfortunately for Ro she had some nursing issues early on and by day two of life we had to start tube feeding. After getting her weight back up and transitioning her back to her Mama she started struggling again with nursing. On Monday we found out that she had really bad pneumonia and we were sent home from the vet with the understanding that she probably wasn’t going to make it. We have spent the last week doing nebulizer treatments, suctioning, tube feeds, endless patting to loosen up the crud, etc.

I am over joyed to announce at her follow up visit this morning her lungs are clear!! Even the vet was shocked and smiling from ear to ear for our sweet girls success.

Look out for some upcoming posts of our available babies! Ther are almost 4 weeks old and will be looking for their new homes to move into in July!
