Reminder, the auction is running until Sunday, September 21st at 5pm. But don't rest on your bids, be sure you get the items you really want. There are still many items without bids, so you have the opportunity for some great finds!

Alright everyone. ALL ITEMS ARE NOW POSTED!! All 1330 of them! I truly thing we have something for everyone. Bid high, bid often and we appreciate your continued support!!! We hope you get some great deals!

As a big of a housekeeping item, we have received lots of questions regarding donated items, how we use them, why items that were donated may not be seen here, etc. We wanted to clarify a few points for everyone to hopefully ease any confusion or concern.

1) All items that are donated are sorted and categorized into collections of how we may use them to best benefit HSOC. This can mean that items are set aside for a different event than the current auction or event because we feel they may make more money for us that way or they fill a certain need we have for an upcoming event. For example, if this fall you donated a collection of spring gardening tools, we will hold those over for an event in the spring because they are timelier then and people are likely to pay more for them at that time. The same thing would be true if you donated a bunch of Christmas ornaments in March, we would hold them until the fall auction because folks are more likely to have Christmas on their mind in September than in March.

2) Sometimes, items that are of a particularly collectible, antique or niche nature may be sold via another online forum, in person to a known collector or reserved for a special sale.

3) Items that are found to be broken, non-working, missing pieces or contaminated in any way may be disposed of appropriately. We do check that every item that requires power or batteries does work before posting it in the auction. If it's something that is deemed fixable, we may post it with notations that it requires some repair so that no one feels taken advantage of.

4) Occasionally we receive items that we just cannot use and if that is the case, but the item is still good. we will donate it to another non-profit organization that may find the item useful to them.

Be assured that we absolutely appreciate everyone's generosity when donating to our organization to help us raise funds for the work that we do. It is a small but mighty team that puts these auctions and events together and we could not do it without your support.

We hope this will answer any questions or concerns that anyone has.
