FOR FOLKS WHO HAVE PARTICIPATED BEFORE, THERE ARE SOME CHANGES, SO PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ!

READ BEFORE PARTICIPATING!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE DO NOT BID ON ANY ITEM UNTIL YOU READ THE GUIDELINES.
Our auction is now officially live. Feel free to peruse the album of items for our auction entitled "2024 Fall Auction" and bid high and often!

Auction will end Sunday 09/29 at 5 pm (EST). The page will go offline at that time and will stay down for a couple of hours to let everyone know it has ended. Bids made after this time will not be accepted.

Because of the changes to FB we will have to bring the page back online to tag winners. PLEASE BE PATIENT during this process. You will still receive messages that give you the items you won and the total amount owed, just like always.
If this is your first time participating, or you situation has changed since you previously participated, please let us know if you are a local pickup or a shipper. If you are a shipper, please message your shipping address to us during the auction, this will make the process quicker on our side when tallying bids.
Bid pricing does NOT include shipping costs!!! These will be determined per item based on where the item is going, multiple items won by the same bidder can be shipped together, if feasible, for savings.

1. PLEASE include your email address with bids (OR PM this page with your email address and item you are bidding on if you wish to maintain privacy). Additionally, please PM us a phone # to reach you via text if needed. It is your responsibility to make sure we can contact you if you win something! We have had several issues with FB messages not going through to folks, or people not responding to emails. A bid is a commitment on your part to follow through, please remember we are all volunteers and we are doing this for the animals.
2. ALL payments need to be paid thru PAYPAL to: [email protected], VENMO () or cash/credit for local pickups is acceptable.
ANYONE who fails to pay will be banned from all future online auctions.
3. PLEASE note, we are now charged a 3% fee on PayPal off the top of your payment. If you would be so inclined to add this to your payment so that we receive the full amount that would be awesome. In addition, we have to pay a 3% fee on all card purchases made, so this will be added to card payments made at pickup.
4. ALL winning bidders who require shipping must PM the page or email us at [email protected] with their entire shipping address for their item(s) within 72 hours of auction closing for calculation of shipping charges. You can send ahead of time if you wish and we will add it to your auction profile in our list.
5. PLEASE tag the item you are bidding on and /or write it down - it's your responsibility to keep up with it. We will try to inform folks if they have been outbid, but we cannot tag folks who haven't liked the page or who have tagging blocked in their profile. We will stop tagging outbids the last 30 minutes of the auction, it is impossible to keep up with at that point.
6. Bid increments are in whole dollars only please
7. Local buyers may pick up their items at Princeton's Meow (29 Brookwood Ave NE in Concord) weeknights between 5:30pm and 7:30pm to avoid shipping charges. Items MUST be picked up within 7 weekdays of the announcement they are ready for pickup or will be forfeited, regardless of payment status.
8. Please note if an item says it is only available for local pickup only. These items WILL NOT be shipped.
9. Deleting bids will NOT be tolerated. You WILL be banned from the page for deleting bids, and yes, we can tell if you have done so!
10. It is UP TO YOU to keep up with the page and announcements such as items are ready for pickup, etc. We will only send individual messages for total owed, beyond that you will need to pay attention to postings on the page - so be sure to "Like" the page so you get notifications.
This auction page is managed by 2 volunteers who work on it outside of their full-time jobs and shelter responsibilities, please be patient with us in getting final tallies together and information to you. IT WILL GENERALLY BE 1 WEEK FROM CLOSE OF AUCTION BEFORE ITEMS ARE READY FOR PICKUP. Shipping will be done after all local items are prepared for pickup.

Hey guys! First off, we want to thank everyone for always being such a great supporter of our auctions! You guys make these a terrific success for us and make the hard work worth it for the team that puts these together. As you may remember from last time, FB has made changes to how pages like ours can function and we are no longer able to create auctions in the same way we did before, by taking down the page and doing it all behind the scenes, then making the page active when it was time to start bidding.

Quick dates/times you need to know:

The fall auction will officially open for bidding on Sunday, 9/22 at 6pm EST.

The auction will close for bidding on Sunday, 9/29 at 5pm EST.

Things that will be the same: the auction will be in its own album where all available items will be shown in Lot # order with a description and a starting bid price. All the normal rules for the auction will remain the same.
Things you are going to see that are different: You will be able to see pictures being uploaded for the auction and information being posted, including descriptions and starting bids, basically you will see the auction being built as we do it, the stuff that was always done “behind the scenes” before. You may bid as soon as pictures are posted, but all items will not be fully uploaded until the official auction start time of 9/22 at 6pm. We have over 900 items this time, so we will be working diligently to get it all done for you, so keep checking back.

When the auction closes, we will take the page inactive for a couple of hours to give folks time to acknowledge the auction is over. Then we will have to bring it back active again in order to tag winners and be able to do our administrative functions that allow us to figure out who won what. Please refrain from commenting on items/posts when the page comes back on until we announce that the tally is done and that we are contacting winners!
We need your help and understanding to continue to make this endeavor successful. If you have any questions about the process or the changes you can post them here or private message us and we are happy to explain as best we can! We want this to be as easy to follow as possible and we do understand not everyone is a FB wizard so if we see an error, we will correct it and private message anyone who might be having trouble!

Thank you in advance for helping this be another successful auction for us. Now let's get bidding!!!!!

Just reminding everyone the auction ends right at 5pm EST. The page will go offline for an hour or so to allow everyone to realize bidding is closed. Then the page will come back online so that we can start tallying the winners and their bids. Please give us some grace as it's just 2 of us managing this along with our full time jobs. We will work as quickly as we can and intend to have everyone's total to them by tomorrow evening. In the meantime, if you are a new person participating and you are a local pickup or a shipper, feel free to message the page and let us know that, and provide your shipping address so we can calculate shipping.

Items will be packaged up this coming weekend and will be available for pickup at Princeton's Meow starting on Monday, June 17th at 5pm. We will be offering a special pickup for Sunday, June 16th between 12pm and 4pm so if you want to come collect your items early that would be a huge help to us as it takes up a great deal of space in our very small building!!

ALL payments need to be paid thru VENMO (preferred) to or PAYPAL to: [email protected] (they now take fees out no matter what) or cash/credit for local pickups is acceptable.

ANYONE who fails to pay will be banned from all future online auctions.

PLEASE note PayPal payments are now subject to fees due to new rules. The fees are approximately 3% of the total if you wish to pay this way, please consider covering the fees as well to help us keep the whole amount earned. ALSO, debt/credit card processing charges have gone up. All card transactions will be subject to a 3% service charge to offset these costs.

Thanks as always for participating. We hope you have had fun and we thank you for your continued support!
